ABDOMINAL BELT with PERINEAL BAND

The abdominal restraining belt includes an articulated system to let the patient turn on to either side, sit up, and sit on the bed. It can be installed easily before or after the patient has gone to bed. The lower part, with fixing bands and two tabs, has to be fixed to the bed or stretcher frame; the upper part has to be placed around the waist of the patient. The lateral restraining bands must always be applied and used and they are intended to control or prevent the patient from turning right or left or both at same time, avoid helicoptering effect, and let the appropriated postural changes be made.

The alphanuMeric coding is a new patented system to make the product application easier, quickly and safety. It informs of abdominal measurement changes and a constant setting in each system application.

ATTENTION: Always use this belt together with the lateral and perineal bands, for security to avoid patient accidents or injuries.

WRISTBANDS

The SALVAFIX® restraining wristbands allow one or both hands of the patient to be secured. The Velcro® facilitates the application of the wristbands in a more adjusted way, increasing the safety of the system.

ANKLE BANDS

The SALVAFIX® restraining ankle bands allow the levels of restraint to be adapted to the clinical needs of the patient. The padded bands are similar to the wristbands. The Velcro® facilitates the application of the ankle bands in a more adjusted way, increasing the safety of the system.

In combination with the SALVAFIX® abdominal belt and fastened to the two tabs situated in the base, they limit the movement

of the patient to the confines of the bed.

This system permits having the maximum level of security of the patient and the medical staff. Due to it composing of individual parts, it can be used depending on the necessity at that moment.

THORAx HARNESS

Prevents the patient from slipping vertically up, and is highly flexible in its application. A band around the thorax prevents from slipping and loosen the harness. With this product there is a transversal strap included of which its use stops a violent or immediate incorporation so that the patient cannot injure themselves or others. For non violent patients, this harness can be used without the transversal strap and the patient obtains a higher grade of mobility being able to sit up on the bed but not slip up.

WRISTBANDS, ANKLE BANDS and THIGH BANDS

They allow secure the patient´s limbs. The comfortable softly padded covering eliminates the injuries made by pressure or abrasions made by older restraining systems. Its particular design permits a comfortable application above the belt tab, eliminating the difficulties of fastening to the different bed widths. The Velcro® prevents slipping of the overlapped parts.

HARNESS

The fastening thoracic harness is used to prevent that the patient slips vertically and to avoid them realize head aggressions. It is fastened with a wide Velcro® strap on the rear part of the belt. A blue edge sewn on the borders of the straps manages to have a smoothly padded surface if in contact with the skin.
