The NLUD Journal of Conflict Resolution is an annual peer-reviewed journal published by National Law University, Delhi. The Journal seeks to provide a platform for novel discussions and research in the field of conflict resolution, an inter-disciplinary field encompassing a wide range of topics like causes of conflicts, dynamics, and trajectories of actions and reactions, conflict management, diplomacy, restorative justice, types of conflicts and various forms of alternate dispute resolution like mediation and conciliation, etc. In furtherance of the same, the Journal invites submissions from academics, judges, practitioners, research scholars and students. The Journal welcomes original and previously unpublished articles, notes, comments and book reviews for publication in Edition I of Volume I of the Journal to be published in 2015. The respective word limits are as follows: a) Articles: Maximum 7,000 words excluding footnotes. b) Notes and Comments: Maximum 3,500 words excluding footnotes. Notes and comments are shorter pieces and may include analysis of recent case law, legislation or policy. c) Book Reviews: Maximum 3,500 words excluding footnotes. We encourage contributors to submit reviews of books that have made a significant addition to scholarship in ADR. Contributors are expected to critically engage with the arguments in the book and not merely provide a summary of its arguments. Kindly adhere to the19 th Edition of The Bluebook for footnoting, and the following for formatting: a) Font: Times New Roman b) Font size: 12 pt c) Margins: 1 inch on all sides d) Spacing: 1.5 e) Footnote font size: 10 f) Footnote spacing: 1.15 Please submit your manuscript as an MS-Word Document with a cover page containing the following: 1) Title of the submission 2) Name of the author 3) Short biography of the author (100 words) 4) Abstract of the submission (300 words)
