5. Read Little Cloud By Eric Carle https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OVvGOOc4uQk Have your parents help you write on a dark piece of paper: Little cloud change into a_______. Write the shape of your favorite cloud formation from the story and try to create it with white pieces of paper, little cotton balls, or any other material you think it can help.

Math

2. Clothing Sort. Select 10 articles of clothing from your house and sort in two piles. Day vs Night/ Winter vs Summer (Items we wear during the day vs items worn at night and Items we wear during the winter season vs items worn during the summer)

3. Counting Book. Using drawing of a sun, a cloud, and a star, create a

counting book from 1-10. (Fold a piece of paper in half and in half again to create 4 squares. Cut apart and repeat 2 more times. Write a number at the top of the page using front and back and draw the corresponding number of objects). Example below

4. Write the word "morning". at the top of a sheet of paper. then go outside & look at the sky and draw a picture of the sky on your paper. On a second piece of paper write "afternoon" at the top.then go outside & look at the sky and draw a picture of the sky on your paper.On a third piece of paper write the word "evening" at the top of the paper.then go outside & look at the sky and draw a picture of the sky on your paper.

5. Patterns: Think about how the trees look in each season:Spring- leaves and flowers, Summer- just leaves, Fall-orange, yellow and brown leaves as well as falling leaves and Winter-no leaves. After that, the student will draw the way each tree looks on each season and will repeat those drawings, 2 more times. Create a pattern using all four seasons Remember that a pattern is something that you repeat several times.

Writing

1. Write under each drawing the season the tree belongs to. Think about how they look on Spring- leaves and flowers, Summer- just leaves, Fall-orange, yellow and brown leaves as well as falling leaves and Winter-no leaves. You can use the pictures below or you can draw the threes and write under them the season they belong to.

● At the top of a piece of paper & write “Sometimes it looks Like a

________. But it wasn’t a _______. Insert one of the things you saw in the clouds into the blanks. Make sure both blanks are the same words. (“Sometimes it looks Like a rabbit But it wasn’t a rabbit.”

● Draw a picture underneath of the object you wrote in the sentence.

● Underneath your picture write “But it was just spilled milk”.

3. Write the weather word inside the shape that goes with it.

4. Using strips of paper or just draw a picture of the view of the moon

when you look out the window at night. Write “Goodnight Moon” above the picture.

5. Draw two clothes that you use during each season- Spring, Summer,

Fall and Winter. Write the name of each clothe. Ex. Summer: flip flops and shorts.

Escribe en el espacio en blanco tu forma favorita de nube de la historia. Después trata de crearla con pedazos de papel blanco, algodón o cualquier otro material que tu creas que pueda ayudar.

Matemáticas

1. Libreta u hoja del clima. Todos los días sal al patio y checa como esta el clima ese día, Después, dibuja y escribe la información de cada día (ve el ejemplo abajo).

2. Clasificación de ropa. Selecciona 10 prendas de ropa que tengas en tu casa y dividela en dos grupos. Puede ser un grupo de ropa de día y ropa de noche o puede ser ropa de invierno y ropa de verano.

3. Libro para contar. Dobla dos hojas en 4 partes, luego coloca los números del 1 al 10 (un número en cada espacio). Usando soles, estrellas o nubes, dibuja la cantidad que se te pide en cada espacio. Ver ejemplo:

4. Escribe la palabra “mañana” en la parte de arriba de una hoja. Después ve afuera y dibuja en esa hoja lo que ves en el cielo. En una segunda hoja, escribe “Tarde”, después ve afuera y observa el cielo, luego dibuja en tu hoja lo que ves. Al final haz lo mismo con otra hoja y escribe “noche”, luego ve afuera y observa lo que ves en el cielo y dibujalo.

5. Patrones: Piensa acerca de como se ven los árboles en cada estación: Primavera- tiene hojas y flores, Verano- solo tienen hojas verdes. Otoño- tienen hojas amarillas, naranjas y cafés y las hojas se estan cayendo, Invierno- No hay hojas en los árboles. Después, el estudiante repetirá esos dibujos dos veces más. Crea un patrón usando las cuatro estaciones del año. Recuerda que un patrón es algo que se repite varias veces.

Escritura

1. Escribe debajo de cada dibujo la estación que le corresponde. Piensa acerca de cómo se ven los árboles durante primavera, verano, otoño e invierno. Primavera- tienen flores y hojas verdes, Verano- tienen hojas verdes, Otoño- hojas amarillas, naranjas, cafés y las hojas estan cayendo del árbol. Pueden usar los dibujos que están aquí abajo o pueden dibujarlo ustedes mismos y colocar el nombre de cada estación al dibujo que le corresponde.

2. Ve la siguiente historia : “Parecer leche derramada” https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EKtN5s7G2n8 . Después ve afuera, acuéstate en el suelo y mira las nubes. Encuentra que figuras u objetos ves en las nubes. En una hoja escribe “Algunas veces parece un/una ______. Pero no es un/una _______”. En los espacios escribe lo que viste en las nubes. Asegurate que en los dos espacios es la misma palabra. Ejemplo: “Algunas veces parece un conejo . Pero no es un conejo ”. Después dibuja la palabra que escribiste. Ejemplo: dibuja el conejo.

3. Dibuja lo siguiente: Lluvia, nieve, rayo y sol. Después, escribe el nombre de ellos dentro del dibujo. Ejemplo: .

4. Usa papel, o dibuja, como se vería la luna si la vieras desde tu ventana. Escribe en la parte de arriba del dibujo “Buenas noches luna”.

5. Dibuja dos prendas de ropa que usarías en cada estación del año

(primavera, verano, otoño e invierno). Ejemplo: Primavera: guaraches y shorts.
