CHIMING OF THE HOUR
WELCOME AND ANNOUNCEMENTS
PRELUDE “Above the Hills of Time” Organist The cross, O Christ, Thy wondrous love revealing,
Awakes our hearts as with the light of morn, And pardon oer our sinful spirits stealing,
Tells us that we, in Thee, have been reborn. Like echoes to sweet temple bells replying
Our hearts, O Lord, make answer to Thy love; And we will love Thee with a love undying, Till we are gathered to Thy home above.
*HYMN OF PRAISE “O For a Thousand Tongues to Sing” No. 57 (vv 1-5)
*AFFIRMATION OF FAITH The Apostles’ Creed No. 881
I believe in God the Father Almighty, maker of heaven and earth; And in Jesus Christ his only Son our Lord: who was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, dead, and buried; the third day he rose from the dead; he ascended into heaven, and sitteth at the right hand of God the Father Almighty; from thence he shall come to judge the quick and the dead. I believe in the Holy Spirit, the holy catholic church, the communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body, and the life everlasting. Amen.
*GLORIA PATRI No. 70 Glory be to the Father and to the Son and to the Holy Ghost; as it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be, world without end. Amen. Amen.
PASTORAL PRAYER / THE LORD’S PRAYER
Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come, thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For Thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, forever. Amen.

Announcements
We welcome our guests and pray that you may be blessed by worshiping with us. There are children’s bulletins available in the narthex and we would appreciate your signing the attendance pad in the pew so we might have a record of your visit.
The altar flowers this morning are given by Laura Bostwick to the glory of God and in loving remembrance of Robin’s birthday on March 20th. He was such a attribute to his family, his church, and his community, and was loved by everyone who knew him. The happiness he exuded made him a joy to be around and his presence has surely made heaven a more joyous place!
To glorify God and in a tribute to his mother’s birthday, David Morris has placed a floral arrangement in the narthex today. Joan Morris was a unique individual whose creative personality was known to persons throughout the area & she was definitely an example of praising God in her own church. It’s a shame that the entire congregation doesn’t have these memories.
Any student (ages k-5th grade) wanting to attend open gym on March 22, must be signed up either in the church office or with Sabrina by March 18.
Rather than discard your Sunday School books when the lessons are com-plete, please place them in the basket in the church office. This literature will be sent to the Philippines by Mary Tate Pannell who has lovingly as-sumed the mission previously undertaken for years by Betty Rogers Inis.
