July 2020

As we commemorate the birth of America and pay homage to “the sweet land of liberty,” many of us will step back in time and reminisce about our own youth. An old-fashioned Fourth of July celebration with parades, picnics and concerts comes to mind. Red, white, and blue were the colors of the day and everywhere you looked, Old Glory flew proudly against the clear blue sky. Brilliant red and white stripes with crisp white stars would radiate from the broad band of blue as the American flag flapped in the breeze reminding us of our many freedoms.

Our forefathers fought to give us the freedom of speech, religion, the right to vote, justice and so much more. We have the freedom to debate, pray and the right to assemble. As proud Americans we value these freedoms and show respect and gratitude with an abiding love for our country.

This Independence Day we will remember the brave men and women who served our great country for the sake of freedom. As fireworks light up the night sky, please join me in wishing the United States of America a very happy 245th birthday!

Happy 4th of July!

We must treasure our many American liberties that so many across the globe can only dream of.

It is not an accident that our first amendment to the constitution includes guaranteed rights to speech, press and religious freedoms.

Let’s continue to seek God’s blessings on our country and liberally thank our veterans who have fought and sacrificed for these same freedoms we love so dearly.

Please know that I’m thrilled to be at WindsorMeade and look forward to serving as your new chaplain.

May God continue to richly bless you,

~ Pastor Randy
