International Day
Each class will be divided in groups. Each group pick one of the following topics:
General info about the country like in which continent it is, the capital city,
main cities, population, currency and flag.
Examples of landscape of this country like mountains, forests, rivers, lakes or
any other landform.
Famous people from this country.
The traditional food of this country.
Traditional events and festivals like the national day of the country or an impor-
tant victory.
Fun facts about this country.
All groups will be requested to participate in the following:
Traditional food for the dish party.
Wearing traditional costumes of the country.
Making decorations that include: flags attached to straws,
printed currency of the country, bunting, famous art
from the country, balloons the same colour of the flag.

about the evacuees in Britain during WWII.
They could relate to their feelings and the
experiences they lived as they wrote a letter
as an evacuee. By next week they are ex-
pected to know more about the Blitz attacks
