God is so very good to us. He has used all of you partners to supply prayers and fundsto make changes in the village of Asesewa. It has been amazing to see what transfor-mations have taken place up on that hill.One of the young ladies wrote this to me several months ago.Mama I hope to open my shop and have apprentices who I will also impact the knowl-edge I am acquiring to. I will also have part of the shop for hair dressing and hair cut-ting and employ somebody who have skill in these areas to manage.I am a very happy lady now because by the grace of God and by the help of MadamGeorgina I am able to sew dresses.I thank God for your life mama; through you I am what I am today. For all of the friends and partners of CCIM let me thank you for your faithfulness. Ithas been a testing time this year but you have stuck in there with me and for me. Thisnewsletter is the first one that we have been able to get out to keep you in touch andinformed as to what CCIM has been doing since the end of 2010. As most of you knowthe middle of 2010, my sidekick, Apostle Dawn Dennis went home to be with Jesus. Alot of adjustments have had to be made and are being made

It has helped because I see thetransformation being made in the lives of the girls at CCIM..Believe me the first year ended July 5. It went by so fast but the girls are already look-ing forward to the time of graduation. Our sessions are one and one half years long.

BRINGING IT ALL TOGETHER

s you have noticed in this news-

letter lots of things have been

going on. And as this one in going to press

the girls are preparing to go to Accra for the

first time. This is their class trip. What we

have set up for them is a two day stay in a

hotel and a two day shopping trip to the

fabric stores. We have hired two taxis to

transport them around the city and they

will have the opportunity to eat in various

restaurants. For us in the USA this is a

usual thing, but for persons never having

left the village before, this is a big thing.

Several of you have sponsored the girls and

to you I am grateful. There is a great reward

for you. Hopefully we will be able to have

some photos of their city trip in the next

newsletter.

All through this newsletter you will see the

progress made at the Training Center. All of

the windows and doors have been installed,

we have water piped into the facility and

another toilet and shower have been in-

stalled. Glory!

On the School update page you will see the

girls working on Beading and making

bracelets from cords. Jewelry Making has

been added to their dressmaking skills.

They are so excited about the various things

being taught to them. They now have other

things that they can do to make money to

support their families. In the month of July

we went to Asesewa and brought back a

bag full of jewelry they had made. It is

beautiful. Some of it will be available dur-

ing the annual Missions Breakfast that will

be held March 17, 2012, so please keep that

date available.

My desire from the beginning of the pur-

chase and the building has been to have

the students trained on several machines

so that they will be prepared to work for

themselves or a company. One machine

that was needed is called ,by them, a baby

lock. That very well may be the name or

some type of knitting or finishing ma-

chine. God is so good and He provided the

funds to purchase the “baby lock” while

we were in Ghana in July. You would

have thought it was Christmas time upon

the arrival of the machine. Once the gen-

tleman assembled the machine it was

ready to go. They will no longer have to

hire someone else, some other place to do

the final work on their garments. I have

another desire and that is that you will en-

joy this long awaited newsletter to see

what your hard earned dollars are doing

in another country on the mission field.

A song that I have often heard, says: little

is much when you place it in the Master’s

hands. Just know that no matter what you

have shared with this ministry it has be-

come much because it was placed in the

Master’s hands. Some young ladies in a

village over seven thousand miles away

are having a life changing experience be-

cause the Lord has touched your heart to

be a blessing. For each one of them CCIM

says a big thank you for all that you have

done. Your reward is laid up for you.

CONSTRUCTION UPDATES

There has been so much construction going on at the Training Center this year and we give God thepraise. The finances from the Mission Breakfast have been a blessing from the Lord. Some things areso new that I did not expect to see them. That is the fire extinguisher or even the need for a fire extin-guisher. I have never seen a fire truck, a fire hydrant or too many houses in that area being built outof wood. +

In our last Newsletter we had a picture of a new baby that was born to the family of Pastor and Evangelist John Nartey. Shewas the Minister that helped Apostle Dawn Dennis with the ministry to the village women. She was so faithful in helpingus .

The first part of this year, God saw fit to take Evangelist Dinah home also to be with Him. That has left us with a gap in theGhana ministry. We ask that you be in prayer with us as we seek Him to let us know what He wants us to do about that partof the Africa ministry. The need is so very great.
