2018 Chairman of the Board
Diann Prechel, A Latte Vino
It has been my pleasure to serve on the Board of Di-rectors and as your 2018 Chairman of the Board. As a
small-business owner, I encourage you to talk to your customers and/or clients, remind-ing them to shop local and use local busi-ness services – it benefits the entire commu-nity. Early in 2019, we will email surveys to chamber members anonymously, in an effort to get the full pulse of the membership. With-out your input, we are unaware how to best serve you and your business, which influ-ences our community. Our last survey only had a return of 6% of the membership’s opin-ions. We need your input, so please partici-pate. We have had many successful events this year and have added more, such as Dinner for A Week, and the Silent and Live Auctions (held at the Annual Dinner). The annual Home, Health & Garden Show (to be held January 12, 2019) continues to be well-attended by the public. The economy is growing and we want to make sure our local businesses grow. Please attend one of our member briefings, mixers or seminars and return our surveys, so we can make sure your business grows, too! Membership and growth is a combined effort by all of us. Happy and safe holidays! Cheers!
