By The Numbers:NAHB’s advocacy on the legislative, codes, regulatory, and legal

fronts provided members with a savings of an average of $6,882 per housing start for a typical home builder in 2014.

During the 2015 Texas Legislative Session, TAB actively tracked over

1,100 of the more than 6,000 bills that were filed. Although it is difficult to accurately determine the dollar savings to the home building and home buying public of TAB’s intervention in each of these bills, it is estimated that TAB’s efforts saved builders over $5,000 per home in costs and fees.

HBA members can save at least $500 a year by taking advantage

of the associations’ discounted products and services and rebate programs.
