CPR” from 1 to 6 p.m. at theCollege Avenue Gym. Trainingwill include cardiopulmonaryresuscitation and automatedexternal defibrillator. CPR keepsthe blood and oxygen circulat-ing. The AED can actuallyrestore a heartbeat. Registrationis $40, $20 for students with anID. The course is open to anyoneage 16 and up. American RedCross certificates will be award-ed to those who pass written andpractical exams. But one goodbye kiss thatsnarled up Newark LibertyInternational Airport on Jan. 3 couldsend Haisong Jiang, a Universitygraduate student, to prison.

Port Authority Police arrestedJiang on Jan. 8 for causing a securi-ty breach on Jan. 3 at the airport,when he slipped under a securityribbon to hug and kiss his girlfriendgood-bye, causing the airport toshut down a terminal for six hours.

Of all the University alumni andstudents currently standing trial,Jiang, a 28-year-old graduate stu-dent at the Center for AdvancedBiotechnology and Medicine isthe most defensible. He faces pettydefiant trespass charges amount-ing to a maximum jail term of 30days and a fine of $500.
