The use of sulpHur in reducing the alkalinity of soils is well documented. Australia has no sulpHur mines and the importation of elemental sulpHur is too expensive to apply to soils in sufficient quantities to achieve an economic result.Refined SulpHur can take a very long time to work in the soil . CKSOne single application cannot solve all growing needs in permanent crops. Annual applications may be necessary, and as pH comes down, application rates can be reduced. You will not be able to solve a pH problem in one single application in one year. pH reduction should be slow and steady, and is often off-set by the pH of applied water during the year.

Aluminium in the form of the Potassium Aluminium SulpHate. Aluminium SulpHate in itself is a soil acidifier. Aluminium is the third highest element found in the earth's soil (8% to 14%). Aluminium does not become available to plants until the soil pH < 5.

Chemical Composition

Micro-nutrientsCKS contains Zinc, Iron Manganese, Copper, Boron and Molybdenum. Nickel is also present in small amounts and considered the seventeenth essential element. Iron is the most abundant mineral with 1 to 2% as Iron SulpHate. The above nutrients are either in a sulpHate form and/or in a silicate form. Sodium levels are very low at + or - .06%.

CKS. is a natural source of Potassium (5 % ), a valuable high-use plant food.

CKS. contains Gypsum in a natural soluble state providing both soluble

calcium and exchangeable Calcium to the soil which will enhance water.

pH reduction starts as soon as water is applied to the soil. The speed and levelof reduction is determined by the application rate and frequency of application.

The reduction can be controlled by the need to amend a particular soil to suit the crop being grown.

What is CKS.? A naturally occurring mined product, 100% natural containing the following elements: Elemental sulpHur, SulpHates, ThiosulpHates, Potassium, Calcium, Iron, Magnesium, Manganese, Copper, Zinc, Boron, Molybdenum, and Selenium.

What is its use? CKS. is a natural soil acidifier. 16% elemental sulpHur.pH reduction starts as soon as CKS. is applied to the soil and irrigated or incorporated.
