About The StudioThe Happy Dandelion is the award winning studio of Joshua and Donna Wilson.
Based on the Lower East Side in NYC, we conceive, create, write, illustrate, produce, publish and market our own interactive book apps.
Our goal is to entertain and educate parents as much as children with unique topics and artful illustrations.
We remain first and foremost, big fans of traditional children’s books. With technology advancing at a frenetic pace, we saw an opportunity to animate our stories in app form in order to compliment
learning and add another level of interest and enjoyment to the classroom environment. We sincerely care about offering products that children and adults can enjoy together.
Work with us.

An UnLikely Hero, Who is the UnStealer?
The UnStealer is a thief that sneaks into situations and steals the “un” prefix from the front of the word changing negative feelings and events into positive ones.
‘The UnStealer’ is the second interactive book app from the studio of The Happy Dandelion. It is recommended for upper elementary students (3-5). It costs $3.99.
Negatives Can become Positives
The UnStealer shows how a change in attitude can make life better. The message, delivered in this colorfulstory, shows kids that they too can change how they feel by stealing their own “uns.”
The UnStealer contains themes that include: confidence, happiness, anger, sadness, friendliness, decision making, bullying, theft and stealing.
By exploring the positive and negative aspects of how a word changes by with the use of a prefix, an open dialogue about emotional behavior and feelings can be encouraged, explaining how each child
has the ability to influence these feelings in a positive or negative way.
