ABOUT the Pozen family Center Human Rights Internship Program
The Human Rights Internship Program awards highly competitive grants to University of Chicago students to support their summer work in human rights practice. The year-long program is designed to help students search and prepare for a summer internship, integrate their summer experience into their academic work on their return, and share their experiences with the broader university community though this annual symposium. The 2016 cohort included 20 College students and 7 graduate students.
Human Rights Internships are supported by the generosity of Richard and Ann Pozen, the College, the School of Social Service Administration, the Women’s Board, and individual donors, including alumni and friends of the Center.
