THE CHANGING OF ASSOCIATES
By now, all of you have heard that on June 13th Father William will become administrator of St Louis in Camden and Immaculate Heart of Mary in Magnolia and that Father Ramsés will be adminis-trator of St. Barbara in DeQueen and St. Juan Die-go in Wicks. Our new associates are: Deacon Dan-iel Ramos who will be ordained a priest for the Diocese of Little of Rock on June 2nd and Father Rajasekhar Chittem, a missionary priest from the Diocese of Nellore, Indian. They will arrive the same week Father Will and Father Ramsés head to their new assignments. I know little of these two men and will ask them to send brief biog-raphies in the weeks ahead. Pray for Fathers Will and Ramsés as they begin their ministries in their own parishes and for these two new associates as they begin their ministry with us. Pray for me as well, I need your prayers.
New Sound System:
We are still waiting on a date for our system to be installed. We must find a week that is good for the installer and us. April was bad for us with all the First Communions and Confirmations Masses we are have. Tentatively, the installation will hap-pen in early May. They need a workweek to install it, so be aware that relatively shortly we will an-nouncements that all Confessions and Masses are cancelled on a certain week. We will keep you un-dated.
PRE Registration:
Registration for the 2018-2019 year will begin in April. Look for dates in the bulletin and Trumpet. As always, we are needing Catechists. If you think this is your ministry please contact Darla Lucas for the program in English and Monica Lopez for the program in Spanish.
Give a Little, Take a little:
We have two new display shelves in the vestibule for food. One is for you to donate a little nonper-ishable foods to our food pantry. This shelf is on the right side of the main office door. The other new shelf is under the pastors’ pictures in the ves-tibule. This is stocked with free bread so you take a little home with you.

MASS AND CONFESSION CANCELATIONS FOR APRIL 2018 All Saturday Confessions at 9AM are cancelled during the month of April due to our Sacrament Masses. Confessions at 9AM will resume on Saturday, May 5th.
All Masses & confessions are cancelled-Wed, April 11th, & Thurs, Apr 12th
at both St Raphael & St Joseph to allow our priest to participate in Continuing Edu-cation Classes for Priests in Little Rock.
Noon Mass on Friday, April 13th is cancelled.
Confessions at 5:00PM and Mass at 6:00PM are cancelled on Thursday, April 19th for Confirmation practice.
Children's Liturgy will be returning to the 10:30am Mass
for children in Kindergarten through 4th grade. Just before the Liturgy of the Word begins in Mass, the children are invited to go
with the weekly leaders to the room across from the confessional in the back of church. During this special time, the volunteer teachers lead the children through
prayers, songs and the Sunday readings. The children will return to their parents just before the Liturgy of the Eucharist.
Volunteers are needed to teach the lessons each week, as well as to assist with the supervision of the children.
