The Tristen D. Hopkins Scholarship Fund
The mission of The Tristen D. Hopkins Memorial Scholarship
Fund is to enhance and improve the quality of life for
graduating high school seniors who are pursuing
higher education opportunities, by providing
assistance and other educational resources needed
to begin their pursuit.

The Tristen D. Hopkins Scholarship Fund
It is the goal of The Tristen D. Hopkins Memorial Scholarship Board to award four scholarships in the amount of $500 for the academic school year of 2012-2013. Students must be enrolled in an accredited college or university.
Recipients can expect to be notified approximately by May of 2012. Final applicants may be required to participate in a panel interview.

Deadline for completed applications is March 1, 2012

and one from a non-family member)

The Tristen D. Hopkins Scholarship Fund
1. Compass for Change (CFC) is a non-profit 501 (3)(C) organization. CFC Ministries wanted an outlet to give back to youth in the Houston and surrounding areas regarding education.
2. The Tristen D. Hopkins Scholarship Fund was started under the CFC Ministries as part of their education program and as a way to honor the memory of Tristen D. Hopkins.
3. Youth being considered may have financial needs, community service involvement, and academic accomplishments. The Tristen D. Hopkins Memorial Scholarship Board of Directors may award one or more scholarships in any such amount as the Board may deem appropriate and to such individuals as the Board in its sole discretion may select.
4. Receipt of the scholarship is contingent upon providing a letter of acceptance for the school of your choice and proof of enrollment.
