The Tree of Peace (Kadinsky style) – Art 1st year Juniors
Use your hand and arm to draw your tree. Paint your tree using Hot or Cold colours. Cut out ovals in different sizes. Think about peace words as a group to write on
the smallest oval. Stick your ovals according to size and whether
hot or cold on your tree.This is the finished project.We looked at the artist Kadinsky, Hot and Cold Colours, Our Body and words associated with Peace.
1. draw around your hand and arm.2. paint using hot or cold colours.
3. cut ovals in big medium small sizes and place
on your tree.4. brainstorm some words that make you think
about peace and write on your tree leaves.
5. Share with the children some Kadinsky pictures and see if they can see similarities with their trees.6. Display your Trees of Peace.
