The challenges, of transporting wine harmlessly are as old as the wine history is.

These amazing clay containers have been used to store and transport wine in the Western Mediterranean.

In 17th century, Britain started importing wine from Portugal. But the wine couldn’t survive the long journey back to Britain.

In ancient times, there were very limited resources for carrying wine. And there was nothing to control temperature effectively.

Barrels have always been used for storage and transportation of wine and, are very useful in maintaining the temperature to a great extant.

Wine is very precious. As it takes a lot of efforts, time and skills to make a good wine. It’s true that most of the wines deteriorate during its transportation. Hence, transportation becomes an extremely critical part of A Good Wine.
