FACT:

MOST KIDS SOLD INTOSEX TRAFFICKINGARE NOT KIDNAPPED

Contrary to popular belief, most victims of child sex trafficking are NOT kidnapped in a parking lot via a jar of honey.

In fact, most victims go home and sleep in their own bedat night. And more often than not, they’re being soldby someone they know and trust.

Like an older boyfriend, a parent, a relative, a neighbor,or even someone they met online. After all, why kidnapa child when you can just manipulate one you already know?

There are plenty of reasons why sex trafficking victims don’t report what’s happening to them. Including:

❏ They’re in debt to their traffickers.

❏ They don’t know who to tell.

❏ Traffickers threatened to kill them & their family

❏ Or they may not even understand that they’re being trafficked.
