The Future•What is the Future form about ?

‣We are talking about predictions

➡We will speak better English

‣ To make Hypothesis

➡ If prices go up, we will not buy petrol anymore

‣ Talking About things that started and are not finished

➡Next month, we are moving to Dublin for work


The Future•Will is a modal auxiliary

‣ It is always followed by the naked verb

➡He will work at the hospital

➡We will learn about the future

➡They will visit the lab soon

‣ It is contracted as ‘ll

➡ She‘ll be there tomorrow

➡You ‘ll learn about the past next time


The Future•Will is a modal auxiliary :

‣ It can be used in the interrogative form

➡Will we finish early today ?

➡Will they send us the samples ?

‣ It can be used in the negative form > Will not = Won’t

➡ She will not be there before tomorrow

➡You won’t know until it is cooked
