My name is Danilenko Tatyana Gennadievna. I am a teacher of English of school 13 in Zhukovsky.I like my school and my pupils very much, among all the things we talk at the lessons I think one of the most important is Sport. It is very close to me because of my father – Bobkov Gennadiy Alexandrovich.

He was born in Ulyanovsk in1933. Then the family came to Yoshkar-Ola (Mary Republic). The life was rather difficult, they could afford to give high education only to one of two sons. His elder brother Yuri insisted on Gena’s being sent to Leningrad. After graduating from Lesgaft’s institute my father came back toYoshkar-Ola and worked in the Pedagogical Institute and the University.

He devoted all his life to the development of sport. He was a great sportsman himself. You won’t believe, but some of his records haven’t been broken yet! (grenade throwing). Till now he is a champion of the republic in slalom (kind of sport does not exist now) He was the founder of the Sport Faculty in Mary Pedagogical Institute. He trained a lot of sportsmen who brought glory to our country. Many of his students in their turn became famous sportsmen and trainers.

Under his watchful eye I started to play badminton, took part in different competitions

On April 26 2013 there were the 1-st competitions devoted to the memory of the Bobkovs’ brothers in Yoshkar-Ola.

They showed that there are a lot of young talented sportsmen who are ready to train and set new records.

Gennady and Yury Bobkovs were the real knights of the Queen of Sport (track-and-field)

They gave all their lives and talents for the course of the development of sport movement.

It’s a great sorrow but last year he passed away…

But Man is alive till he is remembered…

Let this presentation be a bit of memory of Father, Teacher, Trainer…

Остались непобитыми рекорды,И годы лучшие прошли со спортом!
