• It’s free!• Anyone can join!• Anyone can upload!• Like it’s motto – Broadcast Yourself
First thing’s first, let’s get an account!
How to get started!• Head to www.youtube.com • Begin by clicking on the
sign I button• It’ll lead you to a page like
this
• Fill out the required information and press ‘next step’ once you’re done
Congratulations!
It should bring you to a page like this once you’re done with the hard stuff! Just one more step to eternal fun!
ChannelsThis will be your own personal channel where you can upload your own videos, and check out your favourited videos on the go! - Basically anyone can check
out your channel and follow out your activities
- Multiple channels can be added as well
Watching a videoThe search bar is a great place to start! Type in anything you like and videos relating to it should pop up

• As you are watching a video, there are many kinds of interactions that you can play with
• The buttons are all right here
• These buttons will allow you to pause/play, mute, change volume etc

• There are however later additions to the buttons where a user can
- Change the quality - Add captions- Save for later- Change screen size

• Just below the video, there is the comments section where you can post any comments that you desire
• Other users can comment and reply back to any comments

Just next to the search bar, there is an upload button!

There is an new easy system that Youtube uses, where users can drop any file from their computer into this box
Subscribing
• By subscribing to a channel, this will keep you updated on what the channel has recently done
• To new videos and activities• Every time you visit your home page that
channel’s activities will be recommended for you to watch

• The button is basically everywhere.• It is usually located beneath a video or on a
user’s channel
