It gives me a great pleasure to release the first edition of ‘Dew Drops’, a class magazine. The students and English teacher have shown considerable cooperation as well as devotion. I appreciate our English teacher for the initiative taken to tap out the inner talents and creativity of our students. A wide range of poetry, riddles, finding proverbs and some informative, inspirational articles are written and published by our students. Thus the class magazine helps the students to develop their power of thinking and writing. I anticipate many more editions of ‘Dew Drops’ to be released term wise which will
surely motivate other departments too.
I would like to express my thanks and I congratulate our teacher and students for their hardwork and dedication that has resulted in publication of this Class Magazine.

students in all aspects to enable
them to read, learn and be inspired.
Good efforts and initiative have
been taken by our English teacher,
Mrs. Muthu Arunachalam.
I appreciate each and every

“You can’t use up creativity. The
more you use the more you have”.
said Maya Angelou, the famous
American poet. I experienced glee
as students have given exposure to
creativity. I welcome this

Warm Greetings to all...
As an English teacher, I felt that I must be an impetus to
give vent to the inner resources of my children. They
flew with the wings of fancy and the outcome of their
creations and their bamboo growth transported me to
the realm of joy and astonishment.
With Regards and Affection
Does God exist is a question of man
And is there a Divine plan?
Debate do ensure with different
views, Science and Religions
Looking for clues.
How can we be sure
That God is real,
God the Almighty is the real deal,
No one has seen God,
No one really knows.
With disasters and tragedy
People‟s doubts grow.
Here is the proof - God is in life.
Without God NO SPIRIT NO SOUL.
Acknowledge His work,
His grand Design,
The wonders of Nature
Are Truly Divine.

"How people
get oxygen in
Space
Station"
The basic survival of humans are water,
food, oxygen etc. but the most im-
portant thing is oxygen. Have you ever
wondered how people get oxygen
when they are living in space? No one
has ever thought of it. If the scientist
who lives in space station get oxygen
from the earth., ie., everyday they send
a rocket to the space station and that
rocket carries an oxygen container to
supply oxygen to the astronauts or sci-
entist who live in space.
So they need to spend more than
$100,000 a day to launch the rocket and
supply oxygen to the researchers. Govern-
ment must spend more money everyday
to give oxygen to those people. So how do
they really get oxygen? From where do
they get it? They really get it from the uni-
versal solvent, water. They get water in
tons (million tons) from the earth. They
use a process called electrolysis.
In Electrolysis, they need water, two rods
(an anode and cathode rods) and elec-
tricity. They pass electricity in the water.
So that the water (H2O) splits into hydro-
gen and oxygen atoms. So using the oxy-
gen produced from the electrolysis of
H2O. We get oxygen and store it in a
container. This oxygen is used for respi-
ration of people in space station or in a
space shuttle. Using this easy and effec-
tive method they get the oxygen for res-
piration and live in the space station.

Water, Water all around
Water we must keep
it safe and sound.
Wasting water is not good,
Save all water that you can.
People with the water drums,
It’s air that comes from pumps.
Its running low very fast,
We never know how many
Days it will last.
Thirst, Thirst , Thirst,
It’s going very worst , worst.
It’s time to think it right,
No use if we start to fight.
We all are waiting for rain
Our throats are dry,
So save water and do your part
And have a Happy time
To be always Happy Happy...

A man, his wife and his children
were living in a very big apartment.
He was a busy business man.
Hence he would hardly spend time
with his family. His son wanted to
spend time with his father and be
happy. So he approached his father
and asked “Can you play with me
for some time atleast for one
hour”? He said, “No. I can’t. I am
not sitting simply like you. I nearly
earn Rs. 500 per hour.” The boy
was sad . He got an idea after
some time. The boy asked his
mother to give him some money.
The boy started to break his savings
box(piggi bank). His mother was
confused and started scolding him.
And told his father, “I am having Rs.
250 with me. Can you spend your time
with me for half an hour” His father
hugged the boy and realized his
mistake.

Once upon a time, there lived a small boy
of 11 yrs old named Arun in a small town.
He was a good, kind & smart boy. But he
was mocked by others. His mother was
an angel to him. She will make
him come out of his sad mood
by convincing him. He used to
go to school by bus. One day,
when he was waiting for his
bus, he saw a man of 32 yrs old
who got hurt on his leg and
staggered to walk. He was
helpless. Arun came forward to
help him. He asked that man
what‟s his name. He replied that
his name was Abdul. Arun held Abdul‟s
hand and said, “ Don‟t worry. I will take
you to the hospital”. Arun helped Abdul.
He took him to the hospital and they
looked after him. Before leaving , Abdul
asked the boy‟s name. He replied, his
name was Arun. He was late to school. He
was punished and was very upset that
whole day.
His mother came to know about
everything and appreciated him.
After 13 yrs. Arun had completed his degree
and was waiting for a job in the city. He applied
for many companies. Most
of them rejected him, but
one company recruited
him. He was much happier
than before. He packed up
everything and bade good
bye to his family. When he
had been to his office the
first day, he felt proud of
himself. The manager
called him. he was
shocked to see he was Abdul whom he helped
13 yrs ago. Abdul greeted him and said he was
appointed as the manager. He earned money
and settled in the city with his family and led his
life happily.

Aogashima is a volcanic Japanese island in the Philippine sea and
administered by Tokyo. Aogashima is perhaps the only inhabited volcanic island. Living in
this island of 8.75 sq.km is nothing short of magic. Currently 170 – 200 people live here.
Accessible by boats or helicopter
only. One could end up trapped
here pretty easily if the seas gets
rough or a tropical storm makes
its way in.
Even though the last eruption of
Aogashima was during a four –
year period from 1781 – 1783
living in this island means a
constant threat to life. It is still
considered a class – c active
volcano by the Japan Meteorological Agency.
In 1785 , 140 persons perished in the massive eruption. It has been over 200 years since
the last eruption. So the volcano might be in store for an eruption. Town had been built
inside an active volcano.

What is a Black hole ?
When the life time of the star
ends, it undergoes super nova
explosion (where it will give a
very high density light), then
it becomes a black hole.
A black hole is a region of
space time exhibiting gravita-
tional acceleration so strong,
that no particles or even light
can escape from it.
Fun fact:
A blackhole‟s picture has been
published in April 10, 2019.
The distance of that blackhole
from our earth is about 55
million light year. The name of
the blackhole is MST (Messier
87). This question may trou-
ble you. They say even light
can‟t pass through the balck-
hole, then how did they take a
photograph of it?
This is the reason why
people can‟t see
blackhole. When we
see it, the light goes
inside and never
comes back.
When you move into a
blackhole, due to high
gravitational force,
you will be accelerated
faster and faster. If
you feet first moves
towards the blackhole,
