Over 50% consider cyber security a high priority amongst their agency’s current IT initiatives. 50% are confident in their IT department’s ability to manage security threats. Only 5% were not at all confident in their IT department’s abilities. The majority of respondents noted that when it comes to emerging technologies, mobile posed the most concern, though many employees have concerns in all aspects of these technologies. We asked respondents what would have the most impact on their cyber posture in the future, and over two-thirds said it would be continuous monitoring. 69% of respondents are looking to NIST for guidance to implement security controls.
