STEWARDSHIP CAMPAIGN 2019 OPERATING BUDGET
Pledge/PAR forms are now available. Please use these to inform us of your intention to give in 2019. Your responses (by December 16) are needed for the budgeting process. Did you know most folks get up to a 50% tax credit for charitable gifts? If in the past you have not given regularly to St. Paul's, perhaps this might be a New Year's Resolution for you? Sign up for PAR to have a set amount come out of your financial account on a monthly basis. You can also use PAR to direct some of your givings regularly to Mission and Service, or any other specific initiative. Not sure how much to give or how much we need? Stewardship recommends we each give 3 to 4% of our gross income to the operating budget, and a further 0.5 to 1% directed to M&S and/or specific initiatives. High net worth households are encouraged to give more. Questions? Ask Jim Smythe.

Racecourse Community School Fundraising
After church in the Friendship Room on December 9th and 16th, you will have the opportunity to purchase some lovely locally made items with all profits going to the Racecourse Community School for orphans and vulnerable children in Zambia. We are fortunate to have a number of volunteers in the community who source materials from the Reuse Centre and transform them into unique handcrafted items for sale. These same items were sold by the amazing volunteers who made them at the Just One World sale in November and over $600 was raised. Now we are bringing the sale directly to you! Jams and pickles also available.
CHARITY CALENDAR SALE UPDATE
For the past two weeks, Daniel Greenways (our sound tech) has been selling calendars in support of the Nature Conservancy of Canada. The calendars featured his own photography of wildlife in Edmonton. Thanks to the sales at St. Paul's, Daniel has donated $600 to the NCC! Daniel would like to thank the congregation for their support. He hopes you enjoy your calendars this coming year!
For those people who ordered calendars last week, but have not picked them up, they will be available to pick up soon (check with Daniel to see if they are in yet). The formal sale of calendars is over, but if anyone would still like to order a calendar, talk to Daniel and he will order you one. They are $20 each.
Poinsettias
Those who purchased poinsettias are welcome to take them home after worship on Sunday December 23 or after either of the Christmas Eve services.
