Annual Meeting Wrap-up At our Annual Membership Meeting in March, Monte

Bordner was once again the winner of the annual “Wild

Game Chili Cook-off”. The wild game contained in the chili

was venison and the crowd loved it. Congratulations Monte

on another win.

In other news from the Annual Membership Meeting held at

the club March 11, the there were two new District Directors

elected by the membership for the 2019-20 year. The Dis-

trict Director Positions filled were District 2 Mark Speicher and District 3 Benson

Baumeister. Mark Griffin and Michael Book who did not re-run were thanked

for their service to the club. Also the administrative by-law proposal passed.

NOTICE: UNATTENDED GUNS Please do not leave firearms unat-tended on any range. It has been noted recently that someone left a rifle on the rifle range while its own-er went to the adjacent pistol range. This becomes a potential safety issue if an unattended firearm gets in the hands of an unauthorized person (e.g. child). (This doesn’t in-clude the shotgun trap or skeet range if a gun is in the outside rack while you’re in clubhouse or skeet house.)

Fortress Defense Class June 1-2 Please see http://fortressdefense.com/training-calendar/ for details, class descrip-

tion and to register.

June 1-2, 2019; Level 1 Handgun, Carry Skills with Night Shooting. Do you

have your CPL? Haven't pursued additional training? Have had some

additional training like the 101-102-103 series at Club, but want

more? This is the class for you!

Project Appleseed April 19 & 20

Project Appleseed, an American

history and rifle program, returns to

our club this year on Friday and

Saturday, April 19 & 20. This pro-

gram, held on the rifle range,

teaches how the rifle was instru-

mental in the American Revolution

in a fun, family, “hands-on” activity

day on the rifle range. Bring the

whole family! If interested in attend-

ing contact Project Appleseed
