Detailed Information

Band Member Biography: Every member of the group was active in England's theatrical, film, and modeling, and they all responded to an advertisement requesting five "lively girls" for a musical group in the summer of 1993. The manager who placed the ad chose all five members of Spice Girls, yet the women rejected his plans for their career and set out on their own 2 months after getting together as a band. For the next two years, they fought to get a record contract, since most record labels wanted the band pick one member as a clear leader, which the Spice Girls refused. Reasoning

Wannabe 2 Become 1

Wannabe

I chose The Spice Girls because I enjoy listening to their music and find them interesting. They were not on the sheet of artists/bands to pick and I wanted to do someone who hasn’t been done or is not common to do for the music project. It was a challenge finding information about them, but in the long run it was fun and I learned a lot of new information about them. I also now know every word to “Wannabe”!
