Just as the ineffable charm of a land-scape appeals to you in spite of itsdefeIs, so should you recognize theSoundless Sound speaking throughyou in no uncertain language, eventhough imperfedtions be apparent.'1 Meditate upon this thought in yourdealings with your fellowmen.

Many, with all their hearts, believethere is a Divine Power manifestingthrough humanity, yet, alas, how fewthere be who seek or recognize it!

ANY believe that by muchexperience, much prayer,arduous truggle and pa-tient endurance, one daythey may hear the Voice

Ç How few realize that the voice ofhumanity is in reality the Voice ofGod, but in quite a different sensefrom the usual interpretation of "Voxpopuli, vox Deus!"

Through every heart, in spite of itsdefects and failings, back of the per-sonality which may be obnoxious, be-neath and beyond is the Voice of Godspeaking. And this Voice is the oneVoice in all, making humanity one.

Thenwill the Voice become the dailyFriend, the everlaling Counselor,the Prince of Peace, the God of Lovewithin your heart.

Soul, even those who, because of vi-brations not in harmony with Truthas revealed to you, are neither pleas-ing nor helpful.

ISERY, like happiness, iscontagious. To be miser-able is but to increase themisery of the world. ThePsalm of Life which you

ci Therefore we are not all one insorrow, for sorrow is not im-mortal and has no exilence in theOne Life. It belongs wholly to earth,is one of the imperfedtions of separ-ated exitence. If you would hear this Voice in theconditions of earth, trive to awakenit by deeds of loving-kindness. Ju1the natural little kindnesses that bringjoy into life. Also watch that yourfeatures take not on a doleful ex-pression, or of superiority, pride andcondescension.
