Welcome to The Sofa CollectionFrom the Fabric Upholstery Collection, each piece has been uniquely created by two of the UK’s leading interior design houses. A variety of fabrics have been individually selected, from sumptuous deep velvets and damasks, to stylish elegant chenilles and linens.

We also specialise in upholstering our customers own fabrics, affording the individuality of bespoke furniture at practical prices.

Our Premium Leather Collection includes a range of beautiful aniline leathers, in a variety of finishes and colours.

The quality of leathers is chosen from only the top 5% of premium hides available, and this careful selection ensures not only a high standard of finish, but also a natural beauty and integrity associated with quality produced upholstery.

Our Vintage Leather Collection, has timelessly crafted leather pieces meticulously handmade in a lengthy process involving weeks of individual care and attention.

The frame-making, upholstery and hand finishing processes employ centuries old skills and practices, preserving the unique authenticity of historic methods and designs.

By utilising the resources of local suppliers and operating in-house recycling facilities we proactively work at reducing our carbon footprint.

We only craft from solid beech obtained from sustainable sources and fibre interiors are manufactured from recycled plastic. The company supports environmental and green policies, and is committed to planting new trees, one for each of our customers.

An endless variety of combinations allows you to choose the best fit for your living space. Select from any of eight modular unit designs, including the Liberty, Tiffany, Latino, Rico, Cuba, Carmen, Chester, and Bronx (as shown).

Ottoman, Stool or Rounded Stool Ends are available, and sofa beds can also be fitted inside the 2.5 seater and 3 seater modular units. If you prefer or if space is limited, maximise your seating area by opting for a modular unit without arms.

Sofabeds, Tubs & Dining ChairsA sofa bed is a practical addition to any home and available in many of our designs. Manufactured with a solid metal two fold frame and a combination of wooden slats and webbing, making the sofa bed suitable for everyday use. A 12cm sprung mattress comes as standard, but air or memory foam mattresses are optionally available.

The Nevada, EST and Hudson are popular additions to our range, available upholstered in either leather or fabric. The tubs are great when used as an accent piece in the lounge or even in the bedroom.

Our Materials

Leather We know when it comes to making a decision for your family or home it is important to get as much advice as possible. With over 50 years experience with the best quality UK hides, we are both pleased and qualified to offer our assistance.

Leather is a naturally beautiful product and we believe the best looking sofas are created using leathers that are tanned to fully realise the inherent character and integrity of the hide. Aniline and Semi-Aniline leathers are pigmented with natural aniline dyes to ensure the unique variation of each hide is preserved. Our aniline leathers are produced using only the top 5% of hides to create the wonderful display of leathers presented in our range. We avoid using lower quality coloured leathers whose natural characteristics tend to have been obscured in the manufacturing process, enabling the production of individual pieces of fine English furniture.

FabricWhen it comes to choosing fabrics to cover your sofa, we know our customers are interested in both beautiful designs and in suitability for everyday use. That’s why we at The Sofa Collection have sourced cloth from around the world which appeals to those who want something a little special, but which is both hard-wearing and practical. Whether it’s simple modern linens, beautifully patterned chenilles or luxurious heavy velvets, we have taken care and attention to choose originality of design and quality weaves from prestigious UK fabric houses. All of our sofas can be tailored from a wide variety of stunning patterns and designs and we have created some of the most original and durable fabric upholstery available.

FrameAll of our frames are manufactured in-house from solid, seasoned beech wood and individually placed serpentine springs. Each frame is robustly engineered to ensure your sofa will be cherished for generations to come.

FillingThere is also a choice of cushion fillings available to suit individual taste. Our fully fibre interiors have received FIRA’s Gold Award for product excellence (Furniture Industry Research Association). With the production of fibres made from recycled bottles the innovative three dimensional spiral fibre has been tested to provide 95% loft retention after 5 years use. This technology provides a new dimension in high quality seat cushions designed specifically for today’s lifestyle.

Our ever popular foam and fibre wrapped cushions offer a supportive yet comfortable sit, while our innovative double - thickness rustic foam seats ensure an extremely soft sit with all the recovery and clean lines you would expect to find in a smart, practical display of upholstery.
