Meeting Minutes June 2016

…… Tom Smith

Queen City NCRS meeting at George and Linda Swartz home, in beautiful West Chester. President Steve Hack, opened the meeting by thanking George and Linda for having our meeting at their home, and welcomed everyone.

Chris Rockenfield, Vice Chair also welcomed everyone, but had nothing new to report.

Tom Smith, Secretary thanked everyone for coming to last month’s meeting.

Wayne McKee went over the financials for May 2016. John Ballard Judging Chair thanked everyone who came to the Miami Valley Chapter meet the previous Saturday. There were 4 cars, a nice 78 pace car, and a 68 bronze color. The Barbeque was good. John said there are 199 cars registered for the National meet in July.

Jerry Hilbert Road Tour Master stated that the tour starts this year on July 9th and if you plan to attend please let him know. He has 107 cars signed up.

Joe Eyl Tech Judging chair explained he will announce a judging school on operations, at a later date.

Joe Sieve, Membership chair was absent, but we welcomed 2 new members, John Waggoner, and Joe Larocco from Louisville. Honestly Joe we don’t hold anything against you being from Louisville.

Steve touched briefly on the Concour de Elegance that was last weekend, and he reminded everyone, that Trim Parts was not going to hold its regular cruise-in during July.

Also there will not be a July

meeting. The next meeting will be in August

at Dan Lobaugh’s. Steve also reminded everyone that no one has stepped forward to take over the swap meet chair person. Some members and non-members may take it over, but then it would have no affiliation with QCNRCS. Chris reminded everyone that this is our way for making money to help keep the club going.

Heart of Ohio sent an email reminding everyone that they are having a chapter meet in August, and they need judges; please contact Mike Treece if you are interested.

Steve inquired how many people would be interested in a club road tour in August, about 5 hours long, starting in Newport, KY. Bloomington Gold is coming up, and Steve Hack, was informed that our garage number was either B1 or A31. He will find out and let us know.

October 8th is the QCNCRS chapter meet, please sign up as soon as you can. The QCNCRS picnic will be held at Allen King’s home on Sept. 18th, if it rains the picnic will move to Sept. 25th, so hold that date open.

Next meeting will be held at Dan and Beverly Lobaugh’s house. Steve closed the meeting by thanking everyone for coming.
