the Trail of Perry County

History Tour” will be held

Saturday, May 18. This

year’s tour will focus on

the archeological dig at the

Historic Clark’s follow the

movements of that

congregation past the

loca t ion known as

Swisshelm’s, and stopping

at the Shermans Dale

presbyterian Church. Other

possible stops include the

Dellville covered bridge

and the Fetter House. We’ll

be driving past many other

historic sites including Fio

Forge, the Dellville store

and mill and the site of the

Shermans Dale bridge and

the Dromgold Farm. Cost

of the tour is just $38.00

which includes a lunch of

roast beef which will be

served at Mt. Gilead

Church, near Crum’s
