THE SHAPE SCHOOL

Once upon a time, there was a shape school. All kinds of shapes went to theshape school. There were squares, rectangles, triangles and circles. Some were

short, some were tall, some were big, some were small. They were alldifferent, but they were all friends.

One Monday, a new shape came to school. He was a triangle. His name was Tommy Triangle. The teacher, Miss Cindy Circle, said, “welcome to the Shape School. We

work together, we play together, and we share everything”

But Tommy Triangle didn´t want to stay. He was scared and lonely. He didn´t haveany friends. He said, “I don´t want to work! I don´t want to play! I hate this school”. Then he ran away. The teacher said, Tommy Triangle ran away. He doesn´t want to

work and he doesn´t want to play. We have to find him and tell him to stay”.

Sally Circle raised her hand. “Maybe he´s in the computer room. Can I go to thecomputer room?”. “ Yes, you can”.So Sally Circle went to the computer room to look for Tommy Triangle. But Tommy wasn´t there.

Scott Square raised his hand : “Maybe he´s in the library”. Can I go to the library?. “ Yes , you can”.So Scott Square went to the library to look for Tommy Triangle. But Tommy wasn´t there.

Miss Cindy was worried. She said, “Where is Tommy Triangle? Oh, where can he be? He´s not in the computer room. He´s not in the library. Where, oh

where can he be?”

“I know”, said Miss Cindy, “let´s all go to the playground. We can call him. Maybehe will come back.” So they all went out to the playground and shouted, “Come

back, Tommy. Come and play. We´re friends, we want you to stay.”The shapes looked everywhere for Tommy but they couldn´t find him.

Finally Miss Cindy saw Tommy. He was sitting behind a tree. He was playingwith Sue Triangle. They were very happy. “Look Miss Cindy. I have a friend. I´m happy now. I want to work. I want to play. I love this shool. I want to stay.”So they all went back to the classroom together.
