The Seminar
The 2010 National Seminar on Palm Oil Milling, Refining, Environment and Quality is an on-going series of seminars organized specially for Malaysian personnel involved in the palm oil industry.
The last seminar was held in 2008 and since then many innovations and technologies have been developed. This seminar will provide the right forum for the palm oil industry and R&D organizations to exchange ideas, to chart strategies for the sustainable competitiveness and development of the palm oil industry in the global oils and fats market.
Who Should Attend(Exclusively for Malaysians and Malaysian
Companies only)
CEOs, executives, researchers, engineers, scientists, millers, refiners, planters, consultants, entrepreneurs, manufacturers, environmentalists, NGOs; and suppliers of products, machinery and services related to the palm oil industries.
Objectives
• To inform participants of improvements in existing technologies that may improve the productivity of palm oil mills and refineries;
• To update on recent research and technological developments that may improve the environmental performance of the industry;
• To deliberate on issues and concerns that may have an impact on palm oil related industries; and
• To provide a forum for meaningful interactions and exchange of ideas and experiences amongst participants for enhancing the continued development of the palm oil industry.

Registration
A registration fee of RM 1300 entitles a partici-pant for full attendance of the seminar. The fee includes handouts of the seminar papers, a seminar bag, refreshments and lunches for the duration of the seminar. A dinner on the first evening of the seminar is also included.
Additional dinner coupons for guests are available at RM 100 each from the secretariat.
Students are entitled to 50% discount on the seminar fee.
