I’ve been reading a lot lately. Mainly books from people who succeeded big time in differentindustries. One thing they all have in common is an immense, specific goal. I really need to repeatthis: Immense, Specific Goal!

Every word here counts. If your goal is to become rich and I gave you a nickel, you are richer thatyou were, hence goal achieved. My definition of rich is not the same as Bill Gates’ definition of rich.You need to be really, really specific about what you want.

If I say IMMENSE, it is simply because small goals inspire no one. When I was teen, I use to watchMichael Jordan’s games. And after each game I use to imitate him, believing that I was him andrepeating over and over again: He is on 3, only 4 seconds remaining he shoots… HeSCOOOOREEES! My mom use to laugh seeing me do this over and over again. But I was impressingmy mind with a huge goal to be a basket ball champion as my hero: Michael Jordan. 3 or 4 years laterI made the cover of a national sports magazine… It was a picture of me playing during the final gameof college basket ball. Talk about fulfillment!

When the goal is huge it will pull you towards it. You won’t need motivation any more. You won’tneed to drag your feet out of bed every morning. You will be fuelled with enough energy to work dayand night. You won’t go: ho no tomorrow is Monday ;( But you will say: it’s finally Monday!Because you can’t wait to go out and achieve more.

Now when you have a specific immense goal, all you have to do is take one step towards it. It’s aseasy and as hard as that. A lot of people want to have only green lights before leaving their garage. Itwill never, let’s say seldom, happen. More often than none you just have to go out, do what youhave to do. Tweak what you need to tweak and continue your journey towards your goal. If I bring this up, it’s because a lot of people want to become rich without ever enjoying the ride. Asyou are stretching your wings and stepping out of your comfort zone enjoy the moment. Celebrateevery small achievement. Give yourself a tap of the back and continue moving forward.

Now all you need to have a virtuous cycle is to repeat the process again . Take a step towards yourgoal, see if you need to make adjustments and continue. A lot of people fail because they don’t havethe discipline to persevere. I know in the affiliate marketing niche, a lot of people come in, hoping fora quick fix. They want the big red button that says: click me and become rich. I’m not saying that thisbutton does not exists. It probably do exist in each of one us and on it is written: Believe In YourselfAnd Accomplish Miracles! But a lot of people are just not willing to pay the price of discipline andperseverance.

Keep that in mind. To become a master in anything, you have to do something over and over again.Do it, learn more, do it better, learn more, do it even better, learn more, teach it. If you come to a point

where you can teach what you do in a way that even a kid would understand it and take action, thenyou have probably mastered your topic.

It all starts with an immense, specific goal. Now often times we get discouraged because our goal isnot big enough and does not pulls towards it. The secret is to keep going. A bigger goal will berevealed onto you when you are ready. The bigger you become as a person, the greater will becomeyour capacity to accomplish bigger goals. Just take action. Set a goal that is outside your comfort zoneand take action, and grow. And do it again and again. Until one day you will find yourself among the

doers and the shakers of your industry. Start small, but start somewhere! And start RIGHT NOW!
