WHY SNEAKERLAB?

Bacteria are single-celled microorganisms that lack complex cellular

structures and reproduce rapidly through basic cellular division. This

simplicity has allowed bacteria to inhabit almost all environments across

the globe, even the most extreme. Once a bacterium has attached itself

to a surface it starts to degrade larger compounds, such as fats and oils,

to simpler molecules which it then uses as an energy source for survival.

Bacteria degrade these larger compounds by secreting an arsenal of

WHY ENZYMES?

Enzymes are protein macromolecules that act as catalysts for nearly

all chemical reactions. They accelerate the rate of reaction in which

substances are converted or broken down. SNEAKER LAB’s cleaning

solutions contain concentrated enzymes in two forms. Once the

bacterias come into contact with the dirt on your sneakers, they begin

to secrete enzymes as they grow, but this can take a few hours for the

concentration of enzymes to be effective for immediate cleaning. So,

we add additional enzyme power for immediate cleaning strength.

Together these enzymes perform the same function as artificial

soaps and detergents, lifting and breaking down the dirt on your

sneakers, without harming the environment.

WHY ENZYMES?

The enzymes added to our solutions are isolated from microorganisms,

making them natural and biodegradable. These enzymes are

completely degradable in nature and are therefore not harmful to the

environment. Various microorganisms, including fungi, bacteria and

yeast are used in the enzyme manufacturing process. These

microorganisms are grown in large fermenters under perfect conditions,

stimulating the secretion of the various enzymes used in our solutions.

The enzymes are then isolated, purified, and added to solutions.
