The Role of Government in our Locality

Government should have a role in the promotion of religious values in the schools by passing laws thatallows a prayer in the public schools. Government should concentrate on polices that provide financialaid for schools with religious education missions. Government has an important role in helping thedepartment of children and schools deliver its education strategy. It focuses on giving children anexcellent start in education and enabling young people to involve themselves in life and work skills.

Government encourages adults to get their full potential through learning. Government works with other departments to develop school infrastructure and schools skills provisions to meet the needs of growthareas.

Government should support the implementation of the expended schools initiative; provide open schoolsfor families and pupils and community with recreational and learning opportunities. The governmentmain aim in education is to raise standards in schools. Children have different abilities, aptitudes andinterest so all these cannot be fully met by a single type of schools. The government wants parents to beable to choose a good school, matching what they want for their child and what a school offer.Government has greatly expended and encouraged schools or colleges to specialize in particular subjectslike language and technology.

Education is today is largely paid for and administrated by government bodies. Government institutes,seminars, exhibitions and conferences are tailored to meet the needs of those who are responsible for improving agency. We bring together the industry and government leaders to discuss technologies andsolutions to improve service to citizen. It has an increased emphasis on work based learning for achieving the high skills agenda, better productivity levels and economic growth. The Governmentdepartment faculties employ a wide range of teaching strategies and offer a variety of learningenvironments for the students.

Their leaning expectations include an emphasis on students provide substantive knowledge whichrequires reading, explication of theories and discussion about materials. Formal schooling is entirely

administered by government bodies or non profit organizations. Today, government institutions providevocational training which increases the economic productivity of the student and it also broadens thestudent's outlook. Through the education system, government provides general grounding in arts andhumanities in early childhood education, at the primary and secondary schools and at the undergraduatelevel. Government agencies of information technologies have the ability to transform relationships with

businesses.

Parents, teachers, local government and schools principles take part in the rural education and theyimplement the education plan for their district. Parents are being argued to think that their homes arelearning environment in the light of new government plans to improve the education of their children.Government is focusing on how parents' and extending families have an important role to play in

encouraging children to learn. Government should take proactive steps to help families think about hoethey can help their children when they are at home. Government is committed to bring about qualityimprovement, capacity expansion and modernization in the technical education system to fulfill therequirements.

The federal government includes several functions of states and localities, protecting constitutional andcivil rights of students and collect data and information about education. It supports curriculumimprovement, teaching, learning and management of schools. Government has the primaryresponsibility to identify the national interest in education and support efforts to protect that interest.

Government has been making great effort in the last few years to improve the education system bytrying to develop a core curriculum or minimum levels of learning which can be adopted locally and

become more meaningful. Government initiated teacher training programs also emphasized child andactivity based learning.

Government could widen the scope of its flagship programs like Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan and midday meal scheme to meet the goal for compulsory and free education for all. All government and

agencies play a critical role in early childhood education and education programs are funded by both province and federal government. Government role in education has only become controversial in the past few years. In contrast, government role in the funding and delivery of the education has beenwidely established in all the countries. Government is also playing its part by encouraging parents to getinvolved in their child's education.

One of the great inbuilt injustice of India's schools education system that it provides inferior qualityeducation to children of poor families. Children of the rich and urban middle class are enrolled in CBSEaffiliated English medium schools. Poor children are sentenced to government schools affiliated toexamination boards of the sate governments. State government schools are ill administrated sufferedwith teachers' absenteeism and poor infrastructure. Government policy should be strengthen theeducation infrastructure and enhance faculty capacity. While education is primarily state and localresponsibility, government plays a vital role in the improvement of our nation's schools.

Government would need to ensure that all parents have accurate information about how schools are performing so that students' are not excluded from schools due to the ignorance of the parents.Government also needs to design an admissions process that offers all students a school. Governmentcan play an important role in introducing information technology in the education system. Governmentshould focus on enhancing awareness, gather and present information and show its support for localinitiatives and activities. Governmental educational intuitions, organizations and companies will allcontribute to the information technology in a decentralized process.
