    THE REVELATION OF CHRISTS APPEARANCE

(Matthew 24:29) [THE ANNOUNCEMENT OF THE SIXTH SEAL] Immediately after

[i.e., the conclusion of] the [great] tribulation [the fifth seal: Revelations 6:9-11; 7:9-17]

of those days shall the sun be darkened [Gk: obscured in darkness], and the moon shall

not give her [reflected] light [note also the female gender; she will be clothed in darkness,a probable allusion to Islam], and the stars shall fall from heaven [denoting the fall from

rule and power of the previously mighty unto eternal separation from God (love), and

eternal solitary death; the fall from Light into Darkness], and the powers of the heavens[(plural): both angelic and human powers] shall be shaken:

shaken = Greek: to waver, i.e. agitate, rock, topple or (by implication.) be destroyed:move, stir up.

(Heb 12:26-29) Whose voice then shook the earth: but now he [Father God] hathpromised, saying, Yet once more I shake [as in the chaff from the seed] not the

earth only, but also heaven. And this word, Yet once more, signifies the removing

of those things that are shaken, as of things that are made [an allusion tophysical], that those things which cannot be shaken may remain [an allusion tospiritual]. Wherefore we receiving a kingdom which cannot be moved, let us have

grace, whereby we may serve God acceptably with reverence and godly fear: For

our God is a consuming fire.

(Mat 24:30) [THE SIXTH SEAL: THE COMING] And then shall appear the sign of

the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the [unsaved] tribes of the earth mourn, andthey shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.

(Revelations 1:7,8) Behold, he comes with clouds [the opening of the sixth seal: Rev

6:12-17; 7:1-8; 19:11-16; 20:1-6; this is the revelation of His appearance]; and every eye[every living eye, the quick 2 Tim 4:1] shall see him, and they also which pierced him

[and the dead 2 Tim 4:1]: and all [the remaining unsaved] kindreds [Gk: races: tribes]

of the earth shall wail [Gk: beat the breast in grief: lament, mourn] because of him. Evenso, Amen. I am Alpha and Omega [the first and last letters of the Greek alphabet], the

beginning and the ending, saith the Lord, which is, and which was, and which is to come,

    the Almighty.

(2 Timothy 4:1-5) I charge thee therefore before God, and the Lord Jesus Christ, who

shall judge the quick and the dead at his appearing and his kingdom [i.e., Hisappearance brings in His kingdom]; Preach the word; be instant in season, out of

season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all long suffering and doctrine. For the time

will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shallthey heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; And they shall turn awaytheir ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables [Gk: myth; tales,

fiction]. But watch thou [Gk: abstain from wine, be sober] in all things, endure

afflictions [Gk: hardships: sufferings], do the work [Gk: toil: deeds, labor] of anevangelist [Gk: a preacher of the gospel], make full proof [extreme emphasis] of

    thy ministry [Gk: office, service].

make full proof = plerophoreo plerophoreo plerophoreo; to carry out fully

(in evidence), i.e. completely assure (or convince), entirely accomplish:--

most surely believe, fully know (persuade), make full proof of.

(Luke 2:7-11) And she [Mary] brought forth her firstborn son, and wrapped

him in swaddling clothes, and laid him in a manger; because there was noroom for them in the inn. And there were in the same country shepherds

[Gk: pastors] abiding in the field, keeping watch over their flock by night.

And, lo, the angel of the Lord came upon them, and the glory of the Lordshone round about them [extreme emphasis]: and they were sore afraid.

And the angel said unto them, Fear not: for, behold, I bring you good

tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people. For unto you is born this

day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord.

shone round about = Gk: perilampo perilampo perilampo; to illuminate all

around, i.e. invest with a halo:--shine round about.

(Revelations 1:9-11) I John, who also am your brother, and companion in tribulation [forthe past 2,000 years], and in the kingdom [of God] and patience [the needful enduranceof Christians in suffering] of Jesus Christ, was in the isle that is called Patmos [a rocky

island in the Aegean Sea which served as a jail where the Romans banished criminals,

located about 50 miles southwest of the coast of western Turkey], for [the punishment forJohns preaching and teaching] the word of God [the logos], and for the testimony of

Jesus Christ [the rhema]. I was in the Spirit on the Lord's day [Sunday], and heard behind

me [figuratively, the Old Testament] a great voice, as of a trumpet, Saying, I am Alpha

and Omega, the first and the last: and, What thou seest, write in a book, and send it untothe seven churches which are in Asia; unto Ephesus, and unto Smyrna, and unto

Pergamos, and unto Thyatira, and unto Sardis, and unto Philadelphia, and unto Laodicea.

Commentary: The logos word and the rhema word together are two manifestations

(edges) of the sharp twoedged sword (Rev 1:16) of the Lord, i.e., revealed as

His tongue (Rev 1:16; 19:15); and wholly, the rhema fruit that comes out of Hislogos seed body (Luke 8:11; John 1:14). Logos word and rhema word are sharp

blades that allude, respectively, to the physical and to the spiritual, both cut-away

(separate) the dross, the waste matter, the refuse, the false doctrines, etc., from the

good fruit. Herein is my Father glorified, that ye bear much fruit; so shall ye bemy disciples. (John 15:8).

Commentary: The sharp two edged sword of the Lord is visibly a cross whenviewed vertically. Thus, when a similitude of a wooden cross it pierces the ground

of the heart (Mat 13:19) with forgiveness and corrective judgment, as in thisdispensation, and when a similitude of an iron sword it represents the finaljudgment alone, as in the coming end-time dispensation that is virtually upon us,

    at the door really.

(Rev 3:20) Behold, I stand at the door [of your heart], and knock: if any man

hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with

him, and he with me. Amen
