2. Where is your crematory?– Some are on-site, but others maytransport your loved one to a centralor contracted crematory, which servesmany cremation service providers.

We perform cremations on-site atour Glenpool and Okmulgee locationswith our brand new, state-of-the-artcrematory. Our crematory is reservedonly for the families we serve.

3. Do you verify the deceased’sidentity before cremation? – Some will just accept theidentification on the paperwork andassign a numbered indestructiblemetal tag, which stays with the bodythrough the cremation process.

Our quality assurance plan insures thatevery identity is confirmed with a photo ID, signature confirmation process andmaintained by an identification band. All of this information is stored within ourcremation proprietary app withdocumentation available upon request. Our standards far exceed the State requirements.

4. Do you cremate each bodyalone? – All licensed crematoriesare required by law to cremate eachperson individually.

Because we operate our crematory, wecontrol the sanctity of the process andeach cremation is performedindividually.

5. When does the cremation takeplace? –That depends primarily onhow long it takes to process the legally required paperwork. Once the legal paperwork and permit are obtained the cremation is scheduled. When the cremation takes place varies from firm to firm.

Because our care center and state-of-the-art crematory are on-site, we canusually accommodate cremation within4 to 6 days after completion of thelegal paperwork. Under our directsupervision, we can accommodatevirtually any turn-around requirement tomeet your family’s needs.

6. May I attend the actualcremation? – Some offer attendedcremation but most do not havecontrol over the process, or access tothe facility to offer such a service.

We offer each family the opportunity toattend the cremation of their loved one.

7. Is a casket required forcremation? – By law, a state-approved container is required for thecremation. There are a number ofoptions available from a woodencasket to a heavy cardboardcontainer to insure the dignifiedcare of your loved one.

9. Is embalming required beforecremation? – Embalming is notrequired by law but is recommendedin certain situations. If the familydesires a viewing of their loved one orwishes for them to be dressed andprepared, embalming is appropriate.Some cremation societies do not havethe facilities to accommodate therequest and will transfer yourloved one to an outside facility.

10. When do I receive thecremated remains? – It varies fromfirm to firm as to when crematedremains are available. Some allowyou to take the cremated remains withyou in an urn of your choice after abrief cooling and processing period.

Cremated remains are generallyavailable for your family within 24hours after the cremation takes place.We will give you the urn with thecremated remains at an appointment atthe funeral home or we can deliverthem to you. Special requests can beaccommodated.

11. What are cremation societies? – Cremation societies focus onsimple, non-ceremonial cremation.They do not provide all of the servicesand options of traditional funeralhome.
