ABSTRACT
The purpose of the project is to utilize the growing use of Internet and Automation in daily activities and this project is built to enhance one such activity which is done on daily basis which is Car Parking.
Number of cars is increasing because of increasing affordability.
A corresponding intelligent system should be developed that can manage the parking of the cars in an environment where large number of vehicles are involved.

Not only there is just a need to park but for commercial purposes like parking charges the system should be able to do perfect calculation.
The system that will be implemented in this project will be able to provide an automated environment for a car parking. The system will have hardware devices to monitor the physical environment and software logic to manage and control the activity to be performed according to the results computed from the inputs provided from these hardware devices.

The owner of the parking lot can track details of each parking and adjust the costs for it.
Image processing to figure out licence plates for unique vehicle identification.

Program will be compiled using Arduino compiler.
Arduino Uno is used to burn the program in Arduino pro-mini.
HTML5, PHP for interface development.
MATLAB.
