    Blairstown Dog Park

    Committee has beenworking on their dreamto build a communityDog Park in Blairstown.Over the past decade

    dog parks have beengrowing in popularityacross the country, as

    towns and cities alikehave witnessed the

    positive impact that dogparks can have on theircommunities. Now itsBlairstowns turn.After having worked

    with the BlairstownTownship Committee, ithas been agreed uponthat the dog park will belocated behind the Blair-stown Municipal Build-ing on Route 94 inBlairstown.The fenced in area will

    be slightly over one acre

    in size and feature sepa-rate areas for both smalland large dogs.To make this possible,

    the Blairstown DogPark Committee needssupport.The committee is seek-

    ing people to assist with

    fundraising andconstruction of the park.If you would like to

    Warren County Family Court Seeks

    Volunteers for Two ProgramsThe Superior Court of

    New Jersey, WarrenCounty Family Divi-sion, is seeking volun-teers for the Child Place-ment Review Board andthe Juvenile Conference

    Committee.Volunteer members arecourt-appointed, work-ing as an arm of theFamily Court.They meet once per

    month in the evening.The Child Placement

    Review Board reviewschildren who have been

    placed in foster care bythe Division of Youthand Family Services(DYFS).The Boards major

    concern is the well- being of children andassisting in permanency

    planning for them.The Juvenile Confer-

    ence Committee infor-mally hears juvenilecomplaints filed with thecourt.The Committee is

    primarily concernedwith preventing future

    misconduct of youngpeople.

    Basic and moreadvanced training will

    be provided to all volun-teers, so they may betterunderstand problemsfacing youngsters. Eachvolunteer is sworn in bythe Family Court Judgeto observe the confiden-tial nature of proceed-ings. For further infor-mation, contact CourtServices Supervisor
