The Mudflaps is the next concert scheduled in the Wind Gap Park, for the Park Board’s Summer Sounds Concert Series, and will be held Sunday, July 31st, at 6pm, at Wind Gap Park. The Mudflaps are North- eastern Pennsylvania's Premier Oldies Show and Dance Band, entertaining audi- ences of all ages with authentic vocal rendi- tions. The band appears regu- larly throughout Penn- sylvania, New Jersey, Delaware, Maryland, Virginia and West Virginia. Other concerts in the series include: “Desire” on August 14th and “The Daisy Jug Band” on August 28th. The band “Desire,” includes Lou Benito, Eddie Rivera, George Calderone, Bobby Hepburn Middle Row: Greg Restivo, Jaime De Jesus, Nancy McCauley, Otis Harper, Randy Hemmel, and Troy Schulz. Their style of music includes Oldies, Doo- Wop, and some a capella music of the 50's 60's and 70's. In 1976, six computer data processors came together at the New York Life Insurance Company in Lebanon, NJ, and met in the Boardroom after hours to develop a blend of rich, blended multi- racial, multi-ethnic harmonies that has become their signature sound. The Daisy Jug Band is celebrating their 40th anniversary. They have many years of playing gigs, have had changes in personnel and in the song list, but one thing has not changed; their love of music and the desire to perform for a live audience. They are well known for the diversity of music, covering many genres from classic to modern country, oldies, country rock, classic rock and the eclectic. Concerts are held rain or shine. The Wind Gap Athletic Association will be selling refreshments in the park. After 12 years of work- ing out of their home office, Dr. Mike and Nancy Bauer have decided to expand by relocating. “I’ll have more rooms to do more services,” Dr. Bauer said. Massage therapy and acupuncture are two services that Dr. Bauer hopes to offer at his new office. “We’re also looking to do lectures,” Dr. Bauer said. With two young children, practicing out of his home on Second Avenue in Bangor was Bangor Chiropractic Moves to Downtown Bangor Aug. 1 perfect for Dr. Bauer and his wife. But 12 years later, the clientelle and the children have grown. “It’s too tight and we’re too busy,” Dr. Bauer said. “We need more room.” Not only is the excite- ment growing in antici- pation for more space, but Dr. Bauer is also looking forward to having a greater connec- tion with the community and downtown businesses. “I have a great business with 12 years of sucess,” Dr. Bauer said, “but I’m not really connected with the local businesses.
