THE CONSTITUTION OFThe Presence of God Church A.k.a the Presence of God

and Prophetic Prayer Ministry

Established the 15th Day of June, 2013

PREAMBLE We the members of The Presence of God Church or The Presence of God and Prophetic Prayer Ministry, herein referred to as “the church” to propagating the word of God .In compliance with the biblical mandatory injunction to go into the entire world and make disciples of the Lord Jesus Christ.

ARTICLE 1: NAME The name of the Church shall be The Presence of God Church or The Presence of God and Prophetic Prayer Ministry

SECTION1:2 NATUREa) The church shall be denominational and Ministries b) The church shall be Pentecostal and Evangelical in nature

SECTION 1:3 SPLINTER GROUPS AND UNLAWFUL USE OF NAME

1. There shall not be splinter group in the church2. No persons or individuals are permitted to use the name of the

church /ministry in any form whatsoever without the prior written permission of the church council.

3. The church shall have a flag that shall reflect the church’s colours on.

4. The church colours shall be red, blue and pink and yellow5. The church shall have logo that shall be a representation of the

globe with a dove and the Bible in it.6. The flag of the church be flown in front of every branch of the

church.7. The name and logo of the church shall be inscribed boldly on all

letter headings, posters, banners and all other materials and documents to be issued or made on behalf of the church or any of its branches, and the inscription yellow.

8. All branches shall apply and adhere strictly to the objectives of the church

9. No branch shall affiliate with any other organization, religion except with.

10. Written approval of the national church council of THE PRESENCE OF GOD CHURCH.

ARTICLE 2: ADDRESSThe Address of the Church shall:

2.1 The Presence of God Church or The Presence of God and Prophetic Prayer Ministry set up churches everywhere thereby constituting churches in different places. It shall have its corporate office in Emure road, Igbololo, Sagamu, Ogun state, Nigeria.

2.2 The register address of the corporate office of The Presence of

God Church A.k.a The Presence of God and Prophetic Prayer Ministry. Plot 40-45, Emuren Road Igbololo off Ode-Lemo Road Sagamu Ogun State.

ARTICLE 3: AIMS AND OBJECTIVESThe aims and objectives of the Church are:

1. The primary purposes of the church are to reach people ,leading them to a personal faith in Jesus Christ as savior and Lord (John 3:16) ,to see individuals heal emotionally as they grow in faith and teaching toward God and in the knowledge of His Word, to equip Christians for works of service, encouraging spiritual growth and helping them to recognize and develop their God –given gifts through the teaching of Bible ,the ministry of the Holy Spirit ,worship(2 Timothy 3:16-17,1 Corinthians 12:4-10, Ephesians 4:11-13,John4:24)

2. The Presence of God Church Shall provide a ministry of the Word of God through the planting of churches ,the organization of Para-church ministries, Bible and leadership college and institutions in order to reach any person irrespective of races ,colour and nationality.

3. The Presence of God Church shall propagate the Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ to all parts of the world through any means such as church services, crusades, conferences, seminars, prayer meetings, breakfast meetings, radio and television outreaches, internet/ media outreaches, witnessing campaigns or any others means that are appropriate, as long as they are not contrary to the laws of the land.

4. The Presence of God Church shall organized exclusively for charitable ,religious ,and educational purposes include establishing and maintaining of religious worship, rescue Missions ,Bookstores ,Print shops, Day care centers, parsonages , camps ,schools, chapels, Radio stations, television stations ,providing health and any other ministries that the church may deem appropriate in obedience to the will of God

5. The Presence of God Church shall send trained and willing Christians out into the world to promote evangelism and missionary work in all places, to establish and organized churches and foster their development to further the kingdom of God (Mark 16:15)

SECTION 3:2 CHURCH HAND BOOK a) The church shall have a handbook which shall contain the

condition of service for pastoral and other staff of the church b) The condition of service shall be amended time to time are

hereby incorporated ,and shall form part of this constitution

SECTION 3:3 STATEMENT OF FAITH The Presence of God Church believe in the divine inspiration of the word of God, the Bible, and endorse all the teachings and instruction contained therein, accepting the new testament as the fulfillment of Old Testament

The following are the tenets of our faith: 1. The divine Trinity consists of three persons; God the father,

Jesus Christ the Son, and the Holy Spirit perfectly as an eternally united as one (Matt 28:19; Jude 20-21)

2. We also believe in the inspiration of the Bible (2 Tim 3:16,) 3. Repentance as an act of godly sorrow for sin out of a sincere

heart and lending to a total renunciation of sin Isaiah 55:7, Matt 4:17.

4. Justification unto salvation is an act of God’s grace through which a repentant soul receives forgiveness from sin and stands before God free as though he has never committed sins Roman 5:1; 2 Cor 5:17.

5. Sanctification is subsequent to salvation in which God purges and purifies a saved soul and made him/her holy. John 17:15-21, Hebrew 13:12.

6. Baptism of the water by immersion in the name of the Father, the son, and the Holy Spirit for everyone that has truly repented from sin Matt 3:16, 28; 19.

7. Baptism of the Holy Spirit which is the endowment of power from on high with the evidence of the speaking of tongue .John 14:16,17,26; Acts 2:1-4.

8. Divine health and healing through the finished work of Christ on the cross. James.5:14-16,1Pet 2:24.

9. The second coming of Christ in a literal visible form to be preceded by the rapture of the saints. Acts 1:9-11; Matt 24:40-44; 1 Thess 4:15-17; 2 Thess1:7-10; Jud 14-15.

10. The great Tribulation which will occur between the time of the rapture of the saints and His return for the judgment of the ungodly. Isa 26:20-21; Rev 9&16.

11. Christ’s millennium reign which is a literal one thousand years of Christ reining with the saints in this world. Isa 11 & 35.

12. The great white throne judgment which is the final judgment where the wicked dead will appear before the white throne of God for their last judgment Rev 20: 11-15.

13. The new heaven and new earth which will replace the present heaven and earth. 2Pet 3: 12-13; Rev.21:1-3.

14. Eternal heaven and eternal hell which are final and literal places for the just and the wicked respectively. Matt 25: 41-46; Luke 16: 22-28.

15. Marriage is for life and a holy institution between one man and one woman until they are separated by death. Mk 10:6-12; Rom 7:1-3.

16. Restitution after repentance where possible in which the wrongs done against a fellow man is righted in order to have a conscience void of offence before God and man Ezek 33:15; Matt 5:23-24.

17. The institution of the Lord’s Supper ordained by Jesus to be in remembrance of Him Matt.26:26-29; 1Cor 11:23, 26.

18. The possibility of failing from the grace of God through willful and habitual sinning.1 Tim 1:9; 4:1; Heb 3:12; 2Pet 3:17.

19. The five fold ministries of the Apostles, Prophets, Evangelists, Pastors and Teachers. Eph 4:11; 1 Cor 12:28; Eph 2:20.

ARTICLE 4: TRUSTEE (A) The Trustee of The Presence of God Church or The Presence of

God and Prophetic Prayer Ministry for the purpose of the Companies and Allied Matters Act no. 1of 1990,shall be elected at a General meeting charged with responsibility of selecting the Trustee with 2/3 majority votes of members present .

(B) The Trustee The Presence of God Church or The Presence of God and Prophetic Prayer Ministry shall not be less than three and more than five in number.

(C) A Trustee may hold office for four years but shall cease to hold office if he/she:

1.) Resign his/her office.2.) Ceases to be a member of the registered Trustee of the

body.3.) Becomes insane4.) Is officially declared bankrupt 5.) Is convicted of a criminal offence involving dishonesty by a

court of competent jurisdiction6.) Is recommended for removal from office by a board of

Governors and Trustee majority vote of members present at any General Meeting of the body

7.) Ceases to reside in Nigeria(D) Upon a vacancy occurring in the number of the Trustee a

General meeting will be held to appoint another eligible of The Presence of God Church or The Presence of God and Prophetic Prayer Ministry.

4:2 BOARDS OF TRUSTEES1) The church shall have a board of Trustees which shall be

composes of three(3)2) The Presiding Pastor shall be the Chairman of the board of

trustee 3) There Vice President shall a be secretary of the Board of

Trustees4) The Elder shall be the finance secretary of the Board of

Trustees

4.3 RESPONSIBILITIES1.) At least three trustees shall be elected by the church to hold trust the property of the church.2.) They shall have no power to buy, sell, mortgage, lease, or transfer any property of the church without a specific vote of the church authorizing each action.3. )It shall be the function of the trustees to sign any, and all legal documents involving the sale, mortgage, purchase, or lease of church property or any other legal documents requiring the signature of the trustees for and on behalf of the church.

4.) Act as legal representatives of the church and to take such actions and execute any documents necessary to accomplish the purpose of any matter, which concern any real, personal, or intangible property of the Church.

ARTICLE 5: COMMON SEAL(A) The Trustee the Presence of God Church or The Presence

of God and Prophetic Prayer Ministry shall have a common seal.(B) Such Common seal will be kept in the custody of the

Secretary who shall produce it when required for use by the Trustees.

(C) All documents to be executed by the Trustees shall be signed by such number of them and sealed with the Common seal.

ARTICLE 6 MEMBERSHIPS Membership in this Church shall consist of all persons who have met the requirements for membership, been approved by the congregation and are listed on the membership role.

Section I. Orientation of New Members:Candidates for membership and new members need to attend the Church Membership Class to learn and understand the privileges and responsibilities of members to God and the church. Members in good standing shall have the right to a voice and vote in all church transactions and shall have the right and privileges to full participation in the life and work of the church. It shall be the duty of church members to uphold the Statement of Faith, Constitution, and Covenant of the Church.

Section II: Qualifications for Membership1. A personal confession of faith in Jesus Christ for salvation.2. Baptism by immersion as a testimony of salvation.3. Completion of the Church's membership class and its

requirements.4. Basic agreement with the Church's statement of faith.5. All members are encouraged to pray for each other, the leadership

and ministries of The Presence of God Church 6. Demonstrate a financial commitment by tithing and free will

offering to The Presence of God Church7. Regular attendance at the activities of The Presence of God

Church

Section III: Membership Membership shall be limited to those who fulfill the above requirement and have expressed their desire for membership and a willingness to cooperate with the purpose of the church. Individuals accepted for membership will be received publicly and will be presented a copy of the Membership Covenant. Membership may be denied if the eldership decides that this person may be detrimental to the church.

Section IV: Termination of Membership Members shall be removed from the Church roll for the following reasons:1. Death.2. Transfer of membership to another church.3. By personal request of the member.4. Dismissal by the congregation/or officers according to the following conditions:

a. The member's life and conduct is not in accordance with the Statement of Faith in such a way that the member hinders the ministry influence of the Church in the community. b. Procedures for dismissal of a member shall be according to Matthew 18:15-17, Titus 3:10-11.

SECTION V. CHURCH DISCIPLINE (A) There shall be a discipline committee consisting of the senior pastor and the elders. These men and women of God shall have the authority to correct both the senior pastor, residing pastor, elders with their wives and children, members where acts of immoral or improper behavior occurs, doctrinal errors, heresies, or promoting division in the church. If the Senior Pastor/Resident Pastor/Elder is the subject of a disciplinary matter, he shall not sit as a member of the discipline committee

(B) Should any unhappy difference arise among members, the aggrieved member shall follow in a tender spirit, the rules given by our Lord in Matthew 18:15-17.(C) Everyone are expected to demonstrate special loyalty and concern for one another(D) Should any case of gross breach of covenant, or of public scandal occur, the deacons shall endeavor to resolve the conflict; and if this effort fails, shall report the case to the church.

(E) All such proceedings shall be pervaded by a spirit of Christian kindness and forbearance, but should an adverse decision be reached, the church may proceed to admonish or declare the offender to be no longer in the membership of the church.(F) Any person whose membership has been terminated for any offense may be restored by vote of the church, upon evidence of his repentance and reformation; or if an account of continued absence, upon satisfactory explanation.

ARTICLE 7. CHURCH MEETINGS7.1 For effective administration of the church, there shall be the following meetings;(A) Worship Services:The church shall meet regularly each Sunday morning and evening for the worship of God, for preaching, instruction, evangelism, and on Tuesday Bible study and Wednesday another night, designated for prayer. These meetings will be open for the entire membership of the church and for all people and shall be conducted under the direction of the Pastor or designated church officer in the absence of the Pastor.

(B) Regular Business Meetings:Regular business meetings shall be held on every first Wednesday of the month. The agendaShall be circulated or made known to the church one week prior to the business meeting.Should there be any unusual meeting or matter of unusual interest to be brought before suchregular meeting, notice shall be given to the membership one week prior to that meeting.

(C) Special Business Meeting:A special called business meeting may be called by the pastor, and with other church officers, or by action of the church to consider special matters of significant nature. A one-week written notice or announcement must be given for the especially called business meeting.

6.2 The quorum for the meetings shall respectively be:(a) An annual meeting of the Church shall be held prior to the beginning of the calendar year. The primary purpose of the meeting is to receive and adopt the annual report and Church budget.

(b) The Church may change the dates of the annual or other scheduled meetings by notifying the members at least 10 days in advance.(c)A special business meeting of the church may be called at any time by: (i) the Pastor, (ii) or in absence of the Pastor by any other officer of the church or by a majority agreement of the Pastors.(d) Notification of members for business meetings may be given by any one of the following methods:(a) Distribution of written material to the congregation in

attendance at a Sunday service.(b) Announcement of the meeting in the Church newsletter.(c) Oral announcement to the congregation at a Sunday service.

ARTICLE 8.GOVERNING BODY The Governing body of the Church will consist of a minimum of ten persons. The officers will be appointed by the Pastor and approved by the Church annually and will serve for a period of three year. Each officer will be an active/resident member of the Church.

SECTION I.(a) The Senior Pastor will serve as the President of the Church and will be the moderator of the Church. He will lead the staff and have the responsibility to hire and dismiss staff as needed. In the Pastor absence, a director can act as moderator or the church can approve a moderator to serve by majority vote.(b)The Chief Financial Officer of the Church will oversee and cause to be kept and maintained, adequate and correct books and records of accounts of the corporation. He shall also oversee the reception and disbursement of funds.(c) The Church Clerk will serve as the Secretary of the Church.(d)Other trustee officers shall be appointed by the pastor and approved by the church as needed.

SECTION II. CHURCH OFFICERS All church officers must be members of the church in good standing. (A) The Pastor:

1. The qualifications for Pastor shall be consistent with those listed in 1 Timothy 3:1-7. His training, skills, and experiences are needed in this area of leadership.2. His responsibilities:(a) These generally fall into the following areas: Preaching, teaching, pastoral counseling, administration, planning, and guiding the church to grow and fulfill its purposes.(b) He shall lead the church, the organizations, and all leaders of the church in performing their tasks in worship, proclamation, education, evangelism and other programme as leading of God

(B) Church Staff:1. Staff members other than that of the pastor shall be recommended for employment by the Church Council.2. A written job description and mutual contract/agreement will be prepared when the need for church staff is determined.

(C) Deacons:(1) Deacons shall be elected for a term of service of three years or longer term of service as voted upon by the church.

(2) Qualifications: (a) A church deacon must meet the qualifications listed in 1Timothy 3:8-13. (b) A deacon shall demonstrate an exemplary Christian testimony in private, family, and public life; a committed Christian leader and partner of the pastor; supporter and promoter of the church faith, practice, programs, and ministries. Acts 6:2-4

(c) For anyone to be appointed as a deacon or deaconess in the church, he/she must be an active member of the church for less than two years during which he/she must have gone through the membership and workers and leadership course of the church.

(d)For anybody to be appointed as a deacon/deaconess, he/she must have been an active worker in the department of the church for a period not less than a year with a proof of his/her contribution to the development of the group and the church. (e) He/she must be financially committed to the church.

3. Ordination:(a) Ordination of deacons is privileges of the local church.

(b) When ordination of deacons is planned by the church, it shall authorize the pastor to assemble a council to examine the candidates concerning their fit to serve as deacons.(c) When the council recommends the ordination of deacons, the ordination service shall be scheduled as led by the Pastor.

4. Duties:(a) Deacons serve as a committee of counsel to assist the pastor concerning the progress and welfare of the church.(b) Assist the Pastor in ministering to the members by implementing the Deacon Family Ministry.(c) Seek to solve any fellowship problem of the church.(d) Assist the pastor in administering the church ordinances.(e) Serve as church membership committee.(f) In the absence of the pastor, Deacons shall serve as an advisory member to all organizations, departments, and committees of the church.

E. Clerk:1. The church clerk shall be elected and be responsible for keeping an accurate record of all business meeting transactions of the church and preparing the annual report to the association.2. He or she shall keep a register of the names and addresses of the church members, with dates of admission, dismissal, dedication of children, and deaths of members of the church family.3. He or she shall issue letters of dismissal voted by the church and write letters of transfer of membership, prepare written reports of the church, and keep an accurate history of the church.4. An assistant church clerk may be elected or the clerk's responsibilities shall be delegated to a church secretary when the church can afford to employ one.

F. Treasurer:1. The church treasurer shall be elected as the custodian of all money of the church and shall disburse this money by checking as authorized by the church.2. He or she shall keep at all times, an itemized account of all receipts and disbursements and shall render a monthly and annually written report of this account to the church.3. The treasurer's report shall be audited annually by an auditing committee

G. Financial Secretary:1. The church financial secretary shall be elected and shall be responsible for seeing that the offerings are properly received, counted, and deposited in the church's bank account.2. He or she shall properly credit each contributor and their offerings.3. He or she shall be responsible for preparing for mailing a quarterly or annual record of contribution to donors.

ARTICLE 9. CHURCH COMMITTEES All church committees member shall be elected by the church from nominations presented by the Nominating Committee, and nominations from the floor with the consent of the nominees. There shall be a minimum of three (3) committee members with a chairperson. Any committee member elected to fill any vacancy shall serve the expired term of the position vacated. Each committee chairperson shall submit an annual budget request to the Budget and Finance Committee.

A. Nominating Committee:The Nominating Committee shall be responsible throughout the year for nominating and presenting to the church people to serve in various positions of the church (unless provided for otherwise in these Constitution) vacated by expiration of term of office, by death, by resignation, or by removal. Each person contacted shall be informed of his or her responsibilities.

B. Budget and Finance Committee:This committee shall have the responsibility of assuring that the adopted budget is adhered to. It shall recommend financial policies to the church and shall foster and promote programs of stewardship. In consultation with the Church Council for the new church year, it shall draw up, submit to the church an annual budget during the month of October for the next calendar year, and recommend the chairperson of budget promotion annually. This committee shall approve the taking of special offerings. This committee shall be responsible for the annual audit of the treasurer's books.

C. Properties Committee:This committee shall be responsible in matters to properties administration. Throughout the year, this committee shall give attention to and study the condition and state of repair and

appearance of the building and grounds of the church and equipment therein, making arrangements for repairs and improvements authorized by the church and included in the church budget. All matters of major repairs, changes, improvements or items of equipment not included in the budget shall be referred to the Church council for fiscal review. Purchase of equipment shall be through this committee unless another committee is directed specifically to make studies, report to the church, and make necessary arrangements as the church decides.

D. Missions Committee: This committee shall be responsible for discovering possibilities for starting new congregations. If this occurs, this committee will work out a mutual agreement with the church mission congregation(s) as approved by the church. It shall seek also possibilities for local, state, national and foreign missions’ projects, share findings with church program organizations, and serves the church in establishing and conducting such missions projects.

E. Music Committee:This committee will plan and evaluate the music program of the church, in the formation of choirs in the church and planning special musical programs throughout the year. It is responsible for recommending people for the positions of pianist and organist, song leader, and in assisting the pastor with special music in the regular and other services of the church. In the event that a music director is needed as a staff of the church, this committee will look for a qualified person to be recommended to this compensated position, which requires approval by the church.

F. Youth Committee:This committee is responsible in planning and coordinating youth programs and activities inside and outside of the church. These activities are to be correlated with the activities of the church program organization in attaining objectives set forth by the church. An elected representative of the Youth Committee shall serve as a member of the Church Council.

G. Social and Recreation Committee:This committee shall be responsible for all social and recreation activities of the church, formulating policies and supervising the

services rendered to the church through the kitchen and promoting regular church functions to build the fellowship of the church.

H. Ordinance Committee:This committee shall assist the pastor in preparing for the ordinances in the church. The members of this committee shall be responsible for preparing the candidates and the baptistery for the ordinance of baptism and will prepare the elements of the Lord's Supper.

I. Christian Education Committee:This committee shall lead the church in developing and implementing an effective educational-training program. Foremost of these are:

1. Sunday School:The Sunday school shall be divided into classes and departments as it grows and conducted under the direction of a director for the study of God's Word. The tasks of the Sunday school shall be to teach the Bible; lead in reaching all prospects; lead all church members to worship, witness, learn, and minister daily; provide and interpret information regarding the work of the church and denomination.

2. Church Training:The discipleship program shall serve as the training organization and arm of the church. Its tasks shall be to teach Christian doctrine, ethics, church policy and organization; train the leaders’ church and ministries; provide for specialized training for special projects of the ministry for the church; and to provide organization and leadership for special activities in the church.

3. Missionary Education Ministry:There shall be a missionary education with such officers and such forms of organizations to teach missions, lead members to participate in missions, and provide organization and leadership in special mission projects of the church.

J. Outreach Committee:This committee is under the immediate leadership of the pastor. He forms a committee to develop and implement a strategy for effective programs of community evangelism outreach such as visitation; Bible studies in homes, offices, place of works; special evangelistic meetings inside and outside of the church; and other needed programs to reach people with the gospel. This committee is also responsible for planning training events for soul winning, as well as

the production or securing evangelistic printed materials to be used by the church.

ARTICLES 10. LICENSING AND ORDAININGA. Licensing:Any member of the church who has shown by his life and has felt the call to the gospel ministry may by vote of the membership at a regular meeting be licensed by the church to the Christian ministry.B. Ordination:When a church of life faith and order shall have called as its pastor a member of this church who possesses scriptural qualifications and as demonstrated by his skills and training for ordination to the work of the gospel ministry, and shall request in writing that he be ordained, or the Church Council recommends him for ordination, a special committee shall be elected to conduct the process of his ordination. Deacons of the church may be ordained as deacons upon the recommendation of the Church Council. The church shall consider such request and by a vote of majority in a regular meeting approve such request. The Pastor shall assemble an ordaining council for the ordination of qualified and recommended candidates.

ARTICLE 11. SUCCESSION1.) During his lifetime ,the founder shall nominate a successor to lead the organization for an indefinite period after his expiration .In the event of the failure or refusal of the founder to nominate a successor ,the pastoral board shall duly elect the next president who shall lead the church for a four-year renewable term.

2.) In the event of the departure, death or resignation of a non-founding president, the first vice president shall act in the capacity of the President. At the next meeting, the pastoral board shall elect a successor to the President. The new President shall lead the church for a term of four years which is renewable once

ARTICLE 12. SOURCE OF INCOMEThe source of income for the church shall include: 1.) Free-will tithes and offerings as well as voluntary contributions from individuals 2.) Funds received by the church 3.) Any other possible source promoted by the Pastor and the Church council

ARTICLE 13. DISBURSEMENT AND APPLICATION OF FUNDS13.1) Funds of The Presence of God Church are to be deposited in the designated depository banks, and may be withdrawn or otherwise dealt with by authorized joint signatories.13.2) the financial affairs of The Presence of God Church shall be handling by appropriately qualified personnel appointed thereto.13.3) Funds received by the church are non-refundable and are not subject to claim by any individual or organization that may have contributed whatever.

ARTICLE 14. KEEPING OF ACCOUNTThe Church will maintain the following records and reports:1. Adequate and correct books and records of accounts (financial records).2. Minutes of the proceedings of its members and Board of Directors.3. A record of its members, giving their names and addresses.4. Contribution statements for contributors.5. Reports of annual review of all church financial books, records, and proceedings.

ARTICLE 15. APPOINTMENT OF AUDITORS 1.)Independent qualified and licensed Auditors shall be appointed by the general meeting to audit the financial records of the church annually and submit an audited report to the Annual General Meeting of the Church.2.) The audited financial statements (balance sheet and income and expenditure account) duly certified by independent auditors shall be annexed to the annual returns and file with the Corporate Affairs Commission

ARTICLE 16. AMENTDMENT OF CONSTITUTION (16.1)The Founder and President shall have the power to amend any part of this Constitution in his lifetime. (16.2)Upon the demise of the Founder and President, the Constitution shall be a 75% majority decision of the pastoral board

ARTICLE 17. SPECIALCLAUSE 17.1 )THE INCOME AND PROPERTY OF THE PRESENCE OF GOD CHURCH shall be applied solely towards the promotion of the objective of the church as set forth in this RULE AND REGULATION /CONSTITUTION; and no portion thereof shall be paid or transferred directly or indirectly, by way of dividend, bonus or

otherwise howsoever by way of profit, to the members of THE PRESENCE OF GOD CHURCH

17.2 )PROVIDED that nothing herein shall prevent the payment in good faith, or reasonable and proper remuneration to any officer or servant of THE PRESENCE OF GOD CHURCH in return for any service actually rendered to THE PRESENCE OF GOD CHURCH:

A.) With the exception of the ex-officio members of the Governing Council ,no member the council of management or Governing Body shall be appointed to any salaried office of the church or any office of The Presence of God Church paid by fees; and

B.) No remuneration or other benefit in money’s worth shall be given by the church to any member of such Council or Governing body except repayment of pocket expenses or reasonable and proper rent for premises demised, or let to THE PRESENCE OF GOD CHURCH or reasonable fees for services rendered.

17.3) If in the event of a winding up or dissolution of the corporate body if there remains after the satisfaction of all its debts and liabilities, any property whatsoever, the same shall not be paid to or distributed among the members of the church but shall be given or transferred to some other institutions, having objects similar to the object of the church, such institutions to be determined by the members of the church at or before the time of dissolution.

17.4) If effect cannot be given to the aforesaid provisions, the remaining property shall be transferred to some charitable object.
