Free time games including bouncy castle Organized pleasure rides around Colwick Park Race on the racecourse (tbc and subject to Nottingham Race course conditions) For seniors staying overnight, camp will also include: Accommodation in rooms of 2-4 riders in hostel, access to bathroom facilities including showers Breakfast, all food and drinks during the day and supper before bed Comfortable lounge facilities to relax after activities with satellite TV A full programme of evening entertainment including an evening at Nottingham Greyhound Stadium MINI CAMP. Sunday 18th 10am – Thursday 22nd August 5pm

Juniors are 10 years old and under, and attend on a daily basis from

8.30am – 5.00pm with the exception of Sunday, with an option to camp over with parents with prior arrangement

Senior Camp Sunday 18 th August 10am – Thursday 22nd August 5pm

Seniors are 11 years and over – having attained their 11th birthday on or before the 31st August 2019 for 2019 camp. Seniors aged 11 and over may stay overnight in dormitories, or may attend daily.

Mini camp - £75 to be received by 31st May. £90 thereafter if spaces available

MINI CAMP. Monday 19th to Wednesday 21st August. Open to ages 3-7 years. Attendance 10am-3pm. Ponies can stay overnight.

N.B – will all parents check the lost property box located in the dining room during the week

Camp rules/Code of ConductThe list below is not exhaustive.

No alcohol, cigarettes or illegal substances to be brought into camp for consumption by members

·No tents/motor homes/horse lorries for riders are permitted.

Mobile Phones –the following guidelines apply:No mobile phones to be brought into camp by any member aged under 16. Any phone seen being used by under 16s will be confiscated. No liability will be accepted for lost,

damaged or stolen phones.

For 16s and over, phones being used, including to text, snapchat etc. after a reasonable hour at night will be confiscated or if found being used in a manner to

offend or intimidate others will be confiscated. Any photos taken must not be posted to social media without the permission of everyone in the photo. Phones must not be

taken to the stable blocks or used during the day.

Food Parcels No food parcels or take away meals into camp at any time.

Camp safetyDue to the location of camp, riders must not be outside of the hostel after 10pm.To maintain safety, members should not post anything on social media about their presence on the racecourse during camp.Fire exits/doors must not be used at any time unless for fire evacuation purposes.Climbing out of windows or throwing items out of windows is not permitted.Any breakage or damage to hostel property must be paid for by the member/parents.No personal items or bags are to be interfered with at any time, this particularly applies to

items kept in riders rooms.No electrical equipment to be brought to camp unless PAT tested (no hair straighteners to

be brought into camp under any circumstances).Unauthorised removal of items from camp supplies or the tuck shop is forbidden.Visiting the horse yard unaccompanied or without instructor knowledge is not permitted

Bullying Bullying of any kind is not acceptable and this could be interpreted as taking or hiding

items of clothing, disturbance during the night, inappropriate photos, isolating behavior, damage to personal property etc.

BedtimeSeniors in rooms by 11pm. Members to go to their rooms when asked, and not wake

others who are trying to sleep.

Clearing upMembers & their parents are responsible for clearing stables/tack room, and hostel rooms

before leaving camp.

Senior Members of Camp Who Have Their Own Transport Must Not: Drive around the racecourseLeave camp – unless in an emergency and then only with prior consent from the DC or chief

instructor.Have any other member in the car as a passenger under any circumstances

Vaccinations & PassportsIt is a requirement that all horses and ponies have up-to-date vaccinations. Passport & vaccination form must be brought to camp. Please send photocopy of vaccination certificate and horse’s detail sheet from passport with booking form.

NEW FOR 2019! Juniors are welcome to stay overnight with their parents in tents, caravans etc. All children must be supervised on a 1 to 3 ratio. Breakfast and dinner is not included, but can be purchased for an additional cost.

THE FINAL DAY – THURSDAY 22nd AUGUST Race on the racecourse (subject to conditions) or riding demonstration – Parents are welcome to come and watch the rides from approx. 2pm (time to be confirmed).This will be followed by stable & dormitory clearing etc. and then PRESENTATION OF AWARDS at around 4pm – dress: sweatshirt, Cream Jodhpurs, White Shirt, P/C Tie, Hat

Siblings and parent attendanceOnly parent volunteers who are on that days' help rota should be on site. If you need to bring your children’s siblings to camp to carry out your help duty then this can only be authorised by Angela Hardstaff. The catering team work on a strict budget and unfortunately cannot provide food for helpers who are not on the rota. All permitted helpers/volunteers will wear clearly identifiable lanyards, Remember part of the fun of being at camp is for the rider being away from their
