The Pomeranian Logistics Centre at
the PORT of GDAŃSK One of the most significant objectives of the Port of Gdańsk Development Strategy is transforming the port complex into a platform for the European logistics system. The key element in implementing this goal is the construction of the Pomeranian Logistics Centre in the hinterland of the DCT Deepwater Container Terminal. The facility will cover the area of 210 ha and become a centre for providing wide-ranging logistical services focused on processing goods in international traffic destined for recipients in Poland and in the countries of the Baltic region, Central, Eastern and Southern Europe. The Logistics Centre will ensure integration of a variety of transport areas and enable building multimodal transport chains combining shipment, cargo handling and logistical services.
