FAQs

Complimentary admission isprovided each day of thetournament to active duty,military retirees, militaryreserve, National Guard,military spouses andaccompanied dependents withvalid credentials andidentification. Veterans areprovided an exclusive offer,permitting them to purchaseone (1) ticket for themselvesand one (1) ticket for a guestat a discounted rate per day($20/each - Tuesday andWednesday; $30/each -Thursday through Sunday).

WHO RECEIVES FREEADMISSION?

In honor of the service and contributions of U.S. military members and their families, THE PLAYERSChampionship has maintained a long-standing commitment to hosting men and women of the U.S.Armed Forces and their families at its weeklong tournament. The year, 2020, is no exception as thePGA TOUR’s flagship event will be held March 10-15 at TPC Sawgrass.

With 150,000 veterans in thenortheast Florida community,THE PLAYERS is unable to grantfree admission to each memberand their families. However,veterans are provided anexclusive offer for significantlyreduced tickets.

WHY AREN’T VETERANSALLOWED FREEADMISSION?

All military personnel must verifytheir military status viabirdiesforthebrave2.sheerid.com/theplayers2020. Upon verification,a voucher will be issued for eachday that must be printed andredeemed on-site at the DavisLove, Nicklaus, and Couplesentrances. Valid photo or militaryidentification is required.

WHERE CAN I RECEIVEMY TICKETS?

Vouchers are not transferable.

MAY I GIVE THESETICKETS TO SOMEONEELSE?

Entry is only provided tomilitary personnel with avoucher and valid militaryidentification. Vouchers, withvalid military or photoidentification, must bepresented each day of thetournament.

WHAT IF I LOSE MYVOUCHER?

Entry is only provided to militarypersonnel with a voucher and validmilitary Identification. Vouchers,with valid military or photoidentification, must be presentedeach day.

WILL I BE ADMITTED INMY UNIFORM OR WITHOTHER MILITARYCREDENTIALS?

Parking is not included. Parkingpasses must be purchased inadvance at THEPLAYERS.com/park.

THE PLAYERS Disabled GuestServices program providesshuttles during the tournament. A van shuttle, with wheelchairaccess, is available to and fromAccessible Parking in the GeneralParking Lot and Shuttle Row,adjacent to the Davis Loveentrance for spectators seekingaccess to the Practice Grounds,Clubhouse or No. 1 Tee. Disabled Guest Service carts runfrom the time entries open until30 minutes after play. Shuttleswill only pick-up and drop-offfrom designated locations oncourse.

ARE THERE SERVICESAVAILABLE FOR DISABLEDGUESTS?

Handicapped parking is availablein the general parking lot locatedoff of CR 210. Attendees with  avalid placard will be permitted topark in the designatedhandicapped parking area.

IS HANDICAPPED PARKINGAVAILABLE?

In addition to free and reducedadmission throughout theweek, THE PLAYERS provideshospitality tent access to activeduty, military retirees, militaryreserve, National Guard, militaryspouses and accompanieddependents, and veterans withvalid military or photoidentification. The Birdies for theBrave Patriots’ Outpost is reservedexclusively for these members andprovides a complimentary meal,beverages and offerings. Locatednear the tee at No. 16, the Patriots’Outpost is financially supported byUnited Rentals, THE PLAYERSvolunteer leadership - the RedCoats, and Friends of the Outpost.

DO I HAVE ACCESS TO ANYSPECIAL OFFERS WITH MYMILITARY VOUCHER?

Upon redemption of the voucherand verification of valid militaryidentification, military membersand their accompanieddependents will receive awristband, permitting access tothe Birdies for the Brave Patriots’Outpost. Valid military or photoidentification is required for eachmember and accompanieddependent. A new wristband withmilitary ID verification will berequired each day.

HOW DO I ACCESS THEBIRDIES FOR THE BRAVEPATRIOTS’ OUTPOST?

THE PLAYERS’ MilitaryAppreciation Day celebration, tobe held on March 10, 2020,continues to serve as the kick-offto THE PLAYERS Championshipweeklong tournament, March 10-15. The ceremony is scheduled tobegin at 5 p.m. at the 17th hole atTPC Sawgrass with a concert toimmediately follow. Military andyouth admission policies (15 andunder free) will be in effect asquantities are available to thepublic. If a sell-out occurs, nomore vouchers will be available.
