What is iCling ?

iCling is a small sized tracking device that can be attached to any item so as to track its exact

location if the item is lost.

iCling connects to your smartphone via Bluetooth to the iCling application installed in

the phone to help you track lost items.

Turning the device ON

To turn the device ON, press the action button once When the device turns on, the red and blue LED lights on the device will turn on The blue light will turn off after blinking thrice The red light will turn off along with the blue light


Sleep mode

Press and hold the action button for 10

seconds to enter the sleep mode

While in sleep mode, a single click will

bring the device back to normal mode.


Connect device with iCling application

Scan for the device from the

iCling application to connect it

to the application

When the device gets connected to the

application, a blue light will be displayed,

which will blink and turn off immediately.

The maximum distance between the device and the phone to stay connected is 25m.

Finding your lost things with iCling

When an object with iCling attached moves out of

range, an alarm will ring from the device, alerting you

Tap on the ‘Ring my iCling’

button on the device page in

the app screen to start the

Click the power button of your iCling to ring

your phone

Once the phone starts ringing, another click on

the iCling stops the phone from ringing

ICLING MOBILE APPLICATION


Download iCling mobile application

The iCling application runs on Android

(version) and iOS platforms.

Android users can download the

application from the Google play store

iOS users can download the application

from the app store


Login

Enter your mobile number in the respective field

and click ‘Login’ to login to the application.

Click ‘Login with Facebook’ button to login to the

application with your Facebook account

credentials.


OTP

A one-time password (OTP) will be sent to your

registered mobile number. Enter the OTP in the

respective field and click ‘Confirm’ button to login

to the application.

If you do not receive the OTP in a few seconds,

click ‘Resend OTP’ to receive the OTP


Add device

Successful login directs you to a page to add your iCling

devices to the application.

Click ‘Add iCling’ button to add your device.

This page shows the list of your devices

paired with the application.


Find device

To find a device, click the ‘Ring my

iCling’ button in the device page.

Your iCling will start ringing and you

can locate it.

You can also set a safe area for the

device. When the device crosses the

safe area, it will ring automatically.

The application also shows you the

location of your device on the map

Finding a disconnected device

If a device moves out of the defined range of 25m, it will be

disconnected and the application will show the last found location of the device

Click ‘I cant find it’ Click ‘Ok’ to report the device as lost

When your device comes within the range of other iCling application users, the application will notify you of it’s location to help you find it

Take photos with your iCling

When the device is connected to the

application, you can capture photos

through the application using your iCling

device Double click the action button of your

iCling device to open the camera in the

application

Once the camera opens, click the action

button once to capture a photo. Press and

hold the action button to change the

camera view

Double click the action button again to

close the camera


Settings

Here you can enable alerts to find

your iCling if you lose it

Adjust settings to make your phone

ring/vibrate or turn flashlight on to

locate your iCling if you

lose/misplace it.


Emergency SOS

Set emergency contact numbers in the

application to reach out to them

immediately.

In case of an emergency, press and hold

your iCling for 5 seconds to send an alert

SMS with our location to the emergency

numbers
