Blueberry Bliss 1. 1 cup of Walnut Milk How to make nut milk: One cup of walnuts soaked overnight in one cup of spring water (enough to cover the walnuts). In the AM drain walnuts and put in Vitamix. Add 4 cups of water and blend in Vitamix. Strain through muslin or use nut milk bag. Makes 1 litre of nut milk.

PLAIN ENGLISH INFO SHEET #1 We all keep talking about anti-oxidants which help stop oxidative stress. But do you know what is oxidative stress?

Imagine yourself in front of a crackling fireplace and I’ll give you the best illustration I have to explain the process of oxidation. The fire burns safely and beautifully most of the time, but on occasion out pops a hot cinder that lands on your carpet and burns a little hole in it. One cinder by itself doesn’t pose much of a threat; but if this sparking and popping continues month after month, year after year, you will have a pretty "ratty" carpet in front of your fireplace.

The fireplace represents the furnace of the cell (the mitochondria), the cinder is the charged "free radical," and the carpet is your body. Whichever part of your body receives the most free radical damage will be the first to wear out and potentially cause one of these degenerative diseases. If it’s in our arteries, that leads to heart attacks or stroke. If it is the brain, the result is Alzheimer’s dementia or Parkinson’s disease. If it’s the joints, arthritis.

Antioxidants are like the glass doors or fine-wire mesh we place in front of our fireplace. The sparks are still going to fly but our carpet will then be protected. We have to ask ourselves: "Am I getting enough antioxidants from what I eat”?

Balance is the key. The number of free radicals we produce each and every day is never the same. Tick the boxes on the number of pollutants you are exposed to in our air, food, and water which dramatically increase the number of free radicals we produce. Enormous stress, excessive exercise, cigarette smoke, drinking, EMFs, radiation etc all add up.

We have to do all we can to rebuild our antioxidant systems with a healthy diet, but also learn how complete and balanced nutritional supplementation for nourishment for your cells and use your intuition and listen to your body to give you the information to figure out what it needs. Australia born Hedda Leonardi enjoys living many lives simultaneously. Apana Kriya (Elimination Exercises) p.1 of 2

1. Vatskar Kriya: Sit in Easy Pose with hands on the knees. Make a beak of the mouth and drink as much air as you can into the stomach using short, continuous sips, as if you were swallowing. Pull in and hold. Roll the stomach to the left, when the breath has been held in for half its maximum time, reverse the direction to the right. Continue rolling the stomach as long as possible with Neck Lock applied. When the breath can be held in no longer, straighten the spine and exhale slowly (not powerfully) through the nose. Repeat the complete exercise 2 times. Note: Always do this on an empty stomach and not more than twice per day.

2. Baby Pose: Sit on the heels and touch the forehead to the ground. Place the hands palm up by the hips. Imagine that there is a big, 100-pound tail coming off the end of the spine and wag it as if trying to make it break the wall. Move the hips left and right–a few inches–as if the tailbone traces out a “U”; this will churn the navel and the lower abdomen as you move. Continue for 3 minutes followed by 5 minutes of rest.

3. Lie down on the back. Press the toes forward. Lift the legs three feet. Start Long Deep Breathing. Continue for 2 or 3 minutes. Inhale—hold briefly and relax.

4. Lie down on the back, bring the legs overhead and catch the toes. Roll back and forth from the base of the spine to the neck. Hold onto the toes and keep rocking for 3 minutes.

5. Alternate Nostril Breath: Sit up immediately in Easy Pose. As calmly as possible, bring the right thumb to the right nostril to close it off. Inhale through the left nostril, using the little finger, close off the left nostril and exhale through the right. Continue for 3 minutes, then inhale and feel the energy radiate throughout the body, giving health and life.

6. Sit in Easy Pose. Place the Venus Lock a few inches in front of the chest at the Heart Center with the palms facing the chest. Inhale and turn the head to the left; exhale and turn the head to the right. Continue for 3 minutes.

7. Sit in Easy Pose. Stretch the arms out to the sides, parallel to the ground. Swing the arms back in a rolling motion as if swimming. Continue for 1 minute.

8. To end: Inhale and hold the breath as you bend the elbows, bringing the fingertips onto the shoulders. This magnetizes the electric current. While the breath is held, the energy starts circulating. Exhale— let the energy flow to all parts of the body and feel refreshed.

Comments: This is a good example of a simple but powerful series that was kept secret by those few yogis who learned it. This will allow you to completely master your digestive system and give a youthful appearance to your skin. Aging does not start just with years; it begins with nutritional deficiency, intestinal problems, untended emotional and physical stress and an inflexible spine that disrupts the flow of meridians as well as the rejuvenating flow of your spinal fluid. Exercise 1 adjusts the acid–alkaline balance in the stomach, but it must be done regularly without missing a single day. Exercise 2 strengthens the heart; Exercise 3 slims the waistline and cleans the gallblad- der; Exercise 4 flushes the circulation and balances the nerves. Exercises 5 and 6 distribute the pranic force and stimulate the thyroid and parathyroid. Exercise 7 strengthens the psycho-magnetic field of the aura.

Healing Hands!Would you like to increase the kindness and effectiveness of your healing touch? Here’s

a simple routine you can practice that brings more prana into your hands. !

� 1. Rub the palms of your hands together briskly for 3-5 minutes. Produce heat in the hands.

� 2. Then stretch your arms out to the sides, parallel to the floor, palms up, thumbs pointing back. Do Breath of Fire for 3 minutes.

� 3. Then inhale, hold the breath in, and with the arms still out to the sides, bend your wrists so your palms are facing out (away from the body) as if you were pushing out the walls on either side of you. Feel the energy in the center of the palms flowing to your entire body. Exhale and relax the breath. 4. Rub the hands together again for 2 minutes.

� 5. Then bend both elbows, keeping the forearms parallel to the floor. With the left hand in front of the diaphragm, palm facing up, place your right palm facing down about 8 inches above the left palm. Meditation for Emotional Balance(Sunia(n) Antar)

Before practicing this meditation drink a glass of water. Sit in Easy Pose.

Mudra: Place the arms across the chest and lock handsunder the armpits, with palms open and against the body. Raise the shoulders up tightly against the earlobes, without cramping the neck muscles. Apply Neck Lock.

Eyes: Close the eyes.

Breath: The breath will automatically become slow.

Time: Continue for 3 minutes, gradually increasing to 11 minutes.

Comments:This meditation is called Sunia(n) Antar. It is very good for women. It is essential at times when one is worried or upset and doesn’t know what to do, or when one feels like screaming, yelling, and misbehaving. When out of focus or emotional, attention should be given to the body’s water balance and breath rate. Humans are approximately 70 percent water, and behavior depends upon the relation of water and earth, air and ether. Breath, representing air and ether, is the rhythm of life. Normally we breathe 15 times a minute, but when we are able to rhythmically slow down the breath to only 4 breaths per minute, we have indirect control over our minds. This control eliminates obnoxious behavior, promoting a calm mind regardless of the state of affairs. When there is a water imbalance in the system, and the kidneys are under pressure, it can cause worry and upset. Drinking water, pulling the shoulders up to the ears and tightly locking the entire upper area creates a solid brake that can be applied to the four sides of the brain. After 2 or 3 minutes, thoughts will still be there, but one does not feel them. This is a very effective method of balancing the functional brain.
