This project began on 11/11/11 when I landed in Peruto begin an adventure of learning, exploration andadventure.

My plan was simple in some ways, yet meaningful inmany more. I wanted to study shamanism with theQ'ero and Mestizo shaman from the Amazon and filmmy experience. With a background in anthropologyand video I set out on a journey that wasthe culmination of many years of being dissatisfiedwith working behind a desk. I wanted to changecareers mid-life and do something meaningful formyself and others.

After reading several books on shamanic thought from Carlos Castaneda's travels with Don Juan toDon Miguel Ruiz's Four Agreements to The Power of Now by Eckhart Tolle to the shamanic words ofwisdom of Chamalu who said:

"The Wayfarer does not concern himself or herself with things not understood. There is no distressfrom past mistakes nor an allowance to be overcome by a fear for the future. The Wayfarer is not afraidof going wrong or striving or of not being understood. The Wayfarer understands that we are here toexperiment, to learn and be permanently available for life. The Wayfarer knows that life is a sacredpath; that to live is to move forward instead of standing on the side watching; and that the only way tomove on is to throw oneself fully into each experiential sequence that awaits."

This saying became my mantra and I was inspired to embark on a journey of personal discovery andforge a new path.

Fast forward three years and I am now proud to bring you both films that make up The Path of the Sun.This document includes information regarding your purchase and contact inofrmation in case you wouldlike to get in touch for any reason.

A: If you have purchased a packagefrom The Path of the Sun you may makecopies as long as you follow theseguidelines:

1. You may copy the films to anycomputer, laptop, peripheral or mobiledevice within your home that you ownincluding family members.

2. You may NOT copy the films to devices of friends or family membersoutside your home.

3. You may NOT copy the film to the Internet in any way or file sharing servicesuch as Pirates Bay or other internet video services like You Tube or Vimeowithout a license from the filmmaker.

4. You may copy the film to the cloud as long as it is only for your personal useand storage.

5. You may play the movie without paying a licensing fee for communityscreenings for people within your home if it is a small group of 6 persons orless.

6. You may screen the film for more than 6 persons by purchasing a screeninglicense from the filmmaker.

7. This film is copyright protected and violators of the above rules will becharged a fee and penalties.
