Feed My SheepFeed My Sheep

Keep Watch!Keep Watch!

Acts 20:28-32 (NIV) Keep watch over yourselves and all the flock of

which the Holy Spirit has made you overseers. Be shepherds of the church of God, which he bought with his own blood. [29] I know that after I leave, savage wolves will come in among you and will not spare the flock. [30] Even from your own number men will arise and distort the truth in order to draw away disciples after them. [31] So be on your guard! Remember that for three years I never stopped warning each of you night and day with tears.

Double the HonorDouble the Honor

1 Tim. 5:17-20 (NIV) The elders who direct the affairs of the church well

are worthy of double honor, especially those whose work is preaching and teaching. [18] For the Scripture says, "Do not muzzle the ox while it is treading out the grain," and "The worker deserves his wages." [19] Do not entertain an accusation against an elder unless it is brought by two or three witnesses. [20] Those who sin are to be rebuked publicly, so that the others may take warning.

Hebrews 13:7 (NIV) Remember your leaders, who spoke the word of

God to you. Consider the outcome of their way of life and imitate their faith.

Hebrews 13:17 (NIV) Obey your leaders and submit to their authority.

They keep watch over you as men who must give an account. Obey them so that their work will be a joy, not a burden, for that would be of no advantage to you.
