Announcements regarding AACO Govern-ment are made on local TV and radio sta-tions.

When AACO Government offices are closed due to inclement weather, Senior Activity Centers will be closed.

When County schools are closed due to weather, senior centers will also be closed and all activities will be cancelled.

Regularly scheduled AACO Public School closures DO NOT affect Senior Centers. IF there is inclement weather and the AACO Pub-lic Schools have a regularly scheduled clo-sure, the AACO Department of Aging & Disa-bilities will make a determination about Senior Center closures, Transportation and Nutrition based on weather conditions and safety.
