Weekend and nighttime emergency for Sacrament of Anointing of the Dying & Viaticum (Last Rites)
631-667-4044 Ext. # 9
Dear parishioners and friends in Christ,
Happy Birthday America! As we celebrate this Independence Day Weekend let us remember to pray for our Nation. As a Country we have been truly blessed, and much is expected of us. Take an interest in politics, public service and government. Please pray for our military, for those who serve in government and for Religious Freedom.
In observance of the holiday, there will be only one Mass this Wednesday, July 4th at 9:00 am.
We welcome back Father Charlie for the months of July and August. He will fill in for the parish priests during summer vacation.
Please remember that this weekend we have begun our Summer Mass Schedule suspending the 12:30 pm Sun-day afternoon Mass until after Labor Day. Lectors, Ex-traordinary Ministers of Holy Communion, Ushers, Altar Servers, Greeters, and Sacristans who customarily serve at the 12:30 Mass are invited to assist at other Masses. The weekday 7:00 am morning Mass will also be suspended for July and August. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation as our priests now will have the opportunity to take time off for some vacation.
All Parish ministries, programs and organizations are to report their compliance with the Virtus Training and Background screening in writing to Joan Loring before July 1st. Please phone Joan at x122. for further information.
Registration for our Parochial Elementary School continues throughout July and early August. Registration is also now underway for our Religious Education Program. Registration forms were distributed at the end of this cur-rent school year. Kindly return them as soon as possible. Pass the word to neighbors and friends. We will need the entire summer to place students in classes, arrange for cat-echists, and order materials. Registration Forms are avail-able at the Religious Education Office and at the Parish Center
I am pleased to report that our parishioners have pledged just over $118,804 to this year’s Catholic Minis-tries Appeal. That’s 89%! We are so close. Thank you for your support of the Appeal which helps to fund the pastoral ministries of our Diocese and assists us here in our Parish.
Remember to circle your calendar for our Parish Family Festival August 15—19. Spread the word among your family, friends and neighbors!
Finally, please familiarize yourself with our new Diocesan-wide evangelical resource called FORMED. See page 8 of this bulletin for further information.
Have a safe & happy holiday and God Bless America!

Society of St. Vincent de Paul
If you, or anyone you know is in need of assistance, please contact us at 631-667-4044, ext. 175, or at [email protected]
In today's Gospel we see how in faith, Jarius asked Jesus to heal his daughter and how Jesus then answered his prayer. In prayer we also come to know that we are loved by God, and in that trust we ask for healing for ourselves, our loved ones and all those who are suffering. Our mission at the Society of St. Vincent de Paul is to try to bring the love and healing of Jesus to our suffering neighbors. If you would like to find out more information about what you can do to bring the love and heal-ing of Jesus to our suffering neighbors, then please consider attending our next meeting. Please have a Happy - and safe - Independence Day.
The next conference meeting will be held on Monday night, July 2, 2018, at 7:15 pm in the Senior Center.

Dear Friends of Outreach,
Happy 4th of July, everyone! We’re blessed to live in a free nation, under God. We’ve been given so much. At the same time, we remember the oppressed all over the world and those right here in our beloved country who struggle through daily life, trying to make ends meet. Let our good fortune not make us complacent. May we always keep our eyes open to others in need. Have a safe and happy 4th of July. Happy Birthday America
